Wonder if Brady Cleveland will go four for four (Wisconsin, CC, Duluth, and…).

2026-27 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

We went to the Vermont series in fall of 2015. That was a lot of fun. Got to see the leaves turning as well as some kid named Brock Boeser play like he was a senior. I never ate so many flap jacks and French toast as I did when we went to Burlington. -

Would love to see some east coast trips like in years past where they’d play a game against say, Northeastern and then the next night at BC/Harvard/BU. I went out to Boston the year UND played at the Conte Forum and then the next night at Matthews Arena. Fun seeing two different opponents back to back. -

As much as I hate losing to these teams, these are the kinds of opponents who can make us better and more battle tested come tournament time. -
Oh for sure. When Mbereko announced he was returning for his senior year, the writing was on the wall for Musser.
-
DU’s goaltending has consistently been so clutch year in and year out. If you’re a Denver fan you gotta feel good knowing your coach is going to put out a championship contender every season, even if you don’t end up winning it all every single year. I want that at UND and I believe we will get that from our coaching staff here going forward.
-
You’d think coaches around the country would/will study DU and attempt to replicate their style of play.
-
I wonder if UND can somehow replicate whatever it is that David Carle’s been doing, or if it’s like Walmart where competitors try and fail miserably copying them. What strikes me is that they play clutch, relatively mistake free hockey when it matters the most. Must be not only preparation but a mindset.
-
Unger gives me hope. I was bummed to see Musser leave but didn’t blame him one iota.
-
I wonder if Notre Dame wishes they’d have been more accommodating and willing to be a team player and had signed on to join the NCHC.
-
Agreed. I think he burned Mbereko out down the stretch. That and they have had discipline issues on the ice. Take way too many dumb, costly penalties.

Incompetent AD was buddies with Haviland. AD went on to Maine and helped continue to lead their malaise.
-
Mayotte just got a pay raise and a five year contract extension. It’s time he put up. Was really hoping they would’ve gone after the Gwoz either after Owens left or after Haviland.
-
Haviland set the program so far back, not sure if any coach could have quickly resuscitated it. Unlike Denver where a coach leaves and the new coach inherits a solid team.
-
Speaking for CC fans, it is just unreal how our program just an hour south can’t even make the tournament.
-
And I heard we went after him too but he chose Denver.
-
I missed the game. How did Wisconsin play overall? How did Denver play overall?
-
I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but I’m pulling for Michigan, at least for tonight. Can’t stand the thought of du winning another natty. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go wash my mouth out with soap.

The Michigan goal scorer looks a lot like Commodore.

Well said. Couldn’t agree more. I think Kris Mayotte said it best back in January after the series against CC when he told Jax that NoDak is back to playing the North Dakota way. -
If the second period picks up where the first left off, I might have to turn the channel to the national dodgeball championships on the Ocho.
-
Confident quote from the Michigan player there just now during intermission.
-
Not putting any of the goals on Gajan. A crazy tip on the first goal, a one-timer power play goal, and then a horrible turnover that led to Michigan guy walking in all alone for the shorty.

Time for the dives?
