Typically, in past years, Fox Sports North has an alternate channel that would televise Wisconsin/North Dakota games. As I was reading an article about how important it was to both programs to keep the rivalry going, I couldn't help but think what a major disappointment it is that the games would have such limited viewing. Also, when will CBS sports be starting up their weekly Friday NCHC game of the week? Did thy dis-continue that?

Does anyone know what radio station on iHeart radio I can get the UND hockey game? The Fox is currently broadcasting the football game and they still have the 4th quarter to play.

What scares me about AF is how hard they work. They are a very well-coached team. Side bar, Frank Serratore gave one of the best, funniest addresses I've ever had the pleasure of hearing at Sioux Boosters! UND played AF at home in the Ice Breaker Tournament back in '11. Serratore told a story about a time when he was an assistant at UND and how one time during a particularly tough loss, he questioned Blais' decision not to aggressively recruit some D man who went on to play for another program (who ultimately torched us in that game) and how Serratore got punched out by Blais at the John Barleycorn! My favorite part was Serratore saying he had the imprint of one of Blais' NCAA championship rings imbedded in his forehead! He had the booster audience in absolute stitches!

I think the Colorado Springs Junior Tigers made the trip out east this weekend...

The radio guys seemed to infer that Providence came in wanting to make a statement, that they had a chip on their shoulders. That said, still one more game to play in the series, need to put tonight's win behind them and start focusing on tomorrow.

I loved what Caggiula said on the post-game show about Olson stepping in after the big hit! It's a war out there and they stick up for one another!

Liked Bemidji's hustle in the third when they were down 5-1. They're a hard working team.

Only listening to game on the radio. Can those of you who are watching comment on how chippy the game seems to sound?

God, as a CC and UND fan, I was so hoping Gwoz would've become the new CC coach. I would've loved to see him win the gold pan against DU.

So much for my analytic, predictive capabilities. I called for a split this weekend, UND 3-2 on Friday with CC winning Saturday, 4-2.

Stay out of the sin bin and don't be so hesitant with the puck in the D zone down below the dots. CC had a strong forecheck on us down low last night.

Entertaining game. UND had some nice stretches of 5 on 5 territorial dominance, particularly in the first period and Zane made some big saves, especially in the third period.

This is an instance I hope you're right.

I'm calling for a split. UND wins Friday 3-2 and CC wins Saturday 4-2. (Yah, I know-I'm going out on a real limb predicting a split).

For those of you who enjoy micro brews, there's a good place located only about a 5-10 minute drive from World Arena called Bristol Brewing Co.(some of you may have heard of their signiture beer, Laughing Lab). They're located in what was once an old elementary school that now houses a butcher shop, Bristol, and some restaurants. Very cool atmosphere. It's just off of I-25 and Cascade.
