What makes me happy is anticipation of this weekend's hockey series between CC and DU! I'm also hopeful that UND will rebound this weekend as well! I can't wait to see a hotly contested series down in the Springs Friday night and then at Magness Saturday night!

I went to the Friday game between UNO and DU and UNO cut their penalties to a reasonable 7 for 14 minutes. Better yet, they held DU to just one power play goal. UNO moved the puck well and created lots of scoring opportunities. I would imagine they'll continue that sort of wide open play against us this weekend.

Please tell me if Hakstol gives his typical coach speak post game interview.

UNO beat DU in overtime, 3-2.

And if this night couldn't have gotten worse, DU just tied it up with four minutes to play. 2-2 vs. Omaha.

Is it true that UND employs the radio announcers? If so, it's no wonder Hennessy carries water for the team.

I'm sure UND fans will get pissed that I say this but we need a coach who encourages the players to play less with their minds and more with their balls...Eades, Gwozdecky, York, etc.

I personally have always loved the "jump around" tradition at Miami! It always makes me laugh and appreciate the fun that the student section has. As a CC alum, trust me-I know what bad student sections are all about. The same tired cheers of T-I-G-E-R-S, TIGERS, TIGERS, TIGERS! As well as, "(insert goalie name here three times), you suck $&@%!" are pathetic. Miami is one of the arenas on my bucket list I want to get to (in the worst way!) and would have had I not gotten tickets for the Colts/Broncos game in Indy. Blasi is building a great powerhouse in Oxford.

Hennessy just said Rocco's been quiet tonight.

It always seems like we are the only team to be able to out-shoot opponents and be losing.

Anyone know whether or not UND ever recruited Nolan Zajac? That guy is very offensively gifted. DU scored getting him.

I've had the pleasure of living in Denver for the past seventeen years and Gwoz's smugness always bothered me but I really had a change of heart about the guy after the firing happened. Say what you will about his behavior at times but the guy was competitive and had passion. Plus, I'll always love him for publicly saying that UND will always be the Fighting Sioux as far as he's concerned.

I'll never forgive St. Cloud after how militant they were towards UND regarding the Sioux nickname.

I'd rather see Lowell or Quinnipiac win it all. It's hard to root for the team that knocked us out (even though Yale deserved to win by out-playing us).
