Just went to the CC/Air Force game at World Arena. CC went out with a wimper, losing 3-1. They cannot score goals if their lives depended on it, have one of the worst pp's in the nation. Gotta wonder how much rope is left for Scotty Owens. CC and UND seem to have a lot of the same problems the past couple of seasons. Don't know what their problem is.

It's all in preparation. Coaches need to be held accountable too. Players certainly but also the coaching staff.

Should we expect any different results going forward this season?

Off topic but, how does DU get some home games televised on Root Sports but UND games aren't televised on Fox College Sports? I thought CBS Sports had exclusive rights to NCHC games?

Me too-going back and forth between that and DU/WMU. 4-2 DU after two. 3-2, UNO with six minutes to play in 3rd.

A bit unrelated but thought you'd find it of interest: Western Michigan was beating DU 2-0 midway thru the second. Then a Broncos player threw a blatant dirty elbow to Joey LaLeggia's head. DU scored 4 goals in under 5 minutes thanks to a five on three.

I think we need to manage our expectations at this point. We appear likely to be a .500 team if we're lucky.

Just one man's opinion but, because of UNO's wide open style, that should hopefully create opportunities for UND offensively. UNO has been taking a lot of penalties but unless UND can capitalize on their pp opportunities, that won't matter. UNO will come out Friday with a lot of confidence having picked up their first ever wins at DU. How will North Dakota respond to their less than stellar home series against St. Cloud?
