Thank you Canuck. People need to quit looking for an excuse on why we lost and just accept that we had an unlucky night. Without Parise we wouldn't have even sniffed the tournament let alone a national championship. He did lead us to a WCHA Championship lets not forget. To think we would have been better off without him is just plain stupidity.

Zach Parise was an amazing player for the Sioux. He played his heart out every time he was on the ice. He was and is the most exciting hockey player I have ever seen. That said, Zach has done more than anyone to put Sioux hockey in the forefront. How could he not have? He was the best player in college hockey both years he played for the Sioux. I don't care if he didn't win the Hobey Baker, he was the best player in the country. Zach will continue to do more for the hockey program than he even knows. Other players are and will come to UND because "Zach Parise went there." Zach belonged in green. It wouldn't have looked right if he wore a puky gold jersey. He was born to wear a Sioux jersey and I will never be able to see him in anything else. Thanks Zach for the great memories and if the Wild ever offer you a contract TAKE IT!

I hated the Devils before Parise went there. Now I like them more then the Wild. I pray to God Parise wears a Wild jersey one day.

Anybody who puts hockey at the same level of professional wrestling, I assume, have never seen a hockey game in their life.

What would the NHL gain by banning fighting? Less broken noses? Better looking players? What would the NHL lose by banning fighting? Fans. Revenue from the fans.

I was just curious to see what people think of Parise's legacy at UND. Where would you rank him with the best that have come out of UND?

I would love to hear what Federov and A.B.T.G. still have to say. By not responding to these posts I'm assuming that you have changed your opinions and agree that Blais and the other coaches are not the reason we did not win a national championship. If you thought Blais was the reason we exited early who would you rather have as a coach? The man has the best winning percentage of any active coach and two national championshis already. You people need to be patient and realize how hard it is to win a national championship.

I am heartbroken. I would've loved to see Zach play more years with the Sioux but I am so glad that he chose green instead of maroon. I hope I can one day watch him again in another green jersey (Wild).

I'm relieved to see the Gophers get knocked off. My life would be miserable if I had to live another year of a Gopher championship.
