Nice! I can't get the game on NCHC.TV so I think I will just check back later. I'm on a ship going from the south island of New Zealand to the north island. Nice to have internet but expecting to get the game would be a bit much.

The letter is dated June 10 - wonder what took so long for it to get out?

I don't think that would be an issue. They aren't going to put 11,000 people in the building so they could just not sell seats in that area.

I talked to a guy that played on the UW club team about the same time that this article was written and asked him about D1 hockey. He said unless there was someone that wanted to pony up a LOT of money, it wasn't likely to happen. Two of the arenas - in Everett and Kent - aren't realistic for UW to use. Kent is way too far from campus (25-30 miles and brutal traffic) and Everett isn't much closer. Both arenas have CHL teams that play there so scheduling could be difficult. Key Arena is pretty close to campus but I think it would be expensive to rent.

After DU tied it, I was thinking that we always win when we are up after two periods, and we will win this game. I will admit I was a tad nervous, but still confident. There was a kid sitting next to me that cheered real hard for DU and the look on his face when Schmaltz scored was priceless.
