Pfffft. I've been playing this game for at least 6 or 7 years and have only made the final two once before this game. You could pick one of the goalies and win.

A buddy said there is a lack of leadership. I have to agree. He also mentioned there may be division in the locker room due to the kneeling. Could be. But winning a few games would help. I thought they have played pretty good - until today. SCSU's speed killed them. And the penalties killed them.

I knew it when I said it. I feel great shame.

I'm a little surprised that Thome has only played one game. I expected to see just about an every other game rotation. Maybe he is in Berry's doghouse for some reason.

This is good team. They will win a lot of games, but I think Duluth has a more favorable schedule, and a better shot at the Penrose. But we play CC 6 times after the pod and one or two against Miami so we'll see.

Who was it that just skated in and blasted a slapshot to score in a shootout a couple years ago? Seems like if you put it where you want it, it goes in the net.

I was surprised to see him on the 4th line in the first game but he has not played like he belongs on one of the top lines. Certainly hasn't picked up where he left off last season. Injury? Illness?

I thought 14 and 22 had good games, 28 gave Denver their second goal and had a couple of chances but couldn't finish, and 20 was brutal - 2 penalties and just too much poor play. PP continuers to look great (about 30% I think). PK needs work. It looks like we are going to miss 25 and 26.
