Sioux Survivor Game #12 2022-2023

Caulfield -
It looks like the place where the FF pregame party was - Boston or Philly (?) a few years ago. Here's a funny story. UND had the first, second and third floors. Someone from another fanbase came in, looked a "tad" confused, and asked where their team's party was. I told him it's on the forth floor. The look on his face was priceless.

God this thread sucks.

Neither one is very good. But you are right - at least Moore has the potential to contribute offensively.

There are two possible outcomes tonight - a 5-1 drubbing or a 3-2 win.
-
That would be quite the shytshow! I have to wonder why 5 even made the trip. Certainly this will be a redshirt year, although I guess he could play in a couple games and still redshirt.
-
Irony indeed. So what is considered "hostile and abusive" at the NC$$ level gets you recognition and money at the pro level.

ESPN sucks. There is no wonder why people have quit watching it. The comments Stephen Smith made about hockey should have gotten him fired.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

I thought the Midco coverage wasn't up to their usual standards this past weekend, but they have set the bar pretty high. -

Yep they won the faceoff and he immediately iced the puck. -
2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
siouxfaninseattle replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
I sent an email to Ms. Weems before the season and wished her much success. Oh, and BTW, the area that needs the most improvement is NCHC.TV. I realize that she doesn't have control over what the schools do with their broadcasts, but a little encouragement wouldn't hurt. Isn't it Omaha where they switch away from the play to cover a player leaving the penalty box? -
That is what they have done all season, which makes me not real confident in my prediction. And in the interest of full disclosure, I wrote them off several weeks ago - right before they started playing decent hockey. Maybe I should have picked Omaha in two. That reverse thing.
-
Sioux in two.

It looks like there is a teachable moment here.

3 points in one game???!!
-
I didn't say that - I screamed it. He needs to be in a suit in the stands.

Tonight's game was very representative of the entire season. Flashes of good play, lapses that cost them goals, give up a two-goal lead, allow a goal in the final millisecond of the third period (OK slight exaggeration). So painful to watch.

And not Vernon. The writing on the wall in CC.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
siouxfaninseattle replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey
Yes he did, but I didn't see any hits, which was the main topic of the post. -
Speaking of CCP, here's an interesting book. It's fiction and a lot of people will poo-poo the plot as simply conspiracy theories. The author is C.J. Box and the title of the book is Storm Watch. I think it reflects on a lot of what is happening in the US right now.

3. Play a 60 minute game! Sorry, it was coming sooner or later.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
siouxfaninseattle replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey
No, no we don't. He might play in four more games but we won't get to see any crushing hits. When was the last time he hit anybody? All we see is him flipping the puck out of the D zone. Although if the right opportunity arises, like the season is about to end, maybe we will. -
It's hard to understand their #12 PWR ranking with that schedule and those results.
