Yes, it was reported on KVLY and WDAZ tonight.

Was reported on KVLY and WDAZ that Tony Bina has resigned from Bismarck and will teach and coach at Central. There has been no official announcement, but KVLY confirmed that Bina will be the head coach for the hockey team.

And the many people who have lost their homes, farms, and farm land can explain it to them.

I understand that, but they use to have it on 1440, but they haven't for a couple years, so I still don't see why they advertise on their website that News and Views is on that channel, when it obviously isn't.

I just turned it on and he isn't on right now, but I'll keep checking.

I've wondered why News and Views hasn't taken 1440 in Grand Forks off their website. They haven't had this program on since they went to the full three hours of PA and Dubay a year and a half ago. I sent the station an email about this a while back, but it is still on there.

Anyone else see the news last night, regarding the emails that were exchanged between Higher Ed. Board members? Looks like some people on the board think that President Kupchella's time is up at UND. Bev Clayburgh feels that a President who feels they cannot accomplish anymore will just be unproductive in the position. Her email was actually quite harsh. I'm sure there will be more about this in the media in the next couple of days.

I found Bina listed as RW in the following games: Fri/Sat vs. Canisius Sat at CC Fri/Sat vs. Denver Sat/Sun vs Wisconsin Fri at St. Cloud I guess I didn't realize he played forward that much down the stretch.

wow, that is quite a salary, plus the use of two vehicles, the president's mansion, and country club membership. For all the stress caused by the job, they are well compensated.

I've actually been told during a couple different hiring processes for jobs in the public/govt. sector that anything I put down or any letters that I include in my application are public record. I'm not saying that is or was the case or that they even tell people that now, but I just think that President Kupchella should have known what he wrote would probably be seen in print somewhere. It is easy to blame the messenger.

Do you think the NBA has always had high tv ratings? I don't think so.

I think someone might be a little obsessed with IMAX movie theatres. "Come to our Science Center and stay for an IMAX movie" I'm not sure that would be a big draw to the region.

When he talks about how he has accomplished most of what he can accomplish, I also feel it is time for him to move on. I really don't want a guy who is thinking he can't accomplish much more, to be heading this university. Academics should be the number 1 concern for the president, there is no doubt about that, but there is also a balancing act, because a lot of money that flows into the university, comes from athletics and its supporters. To say that the President shouldn't be concerned about athletics, would be a damaging blow to the financial coffers of the U.
