Hunt is looking good and we finally have a thick enough body in the middle to not get pushed around. Defense looks worlds better this game than it has except that one blown coverage.
-
Preaching to the choir. That dump off to Santiago was closest I've seen this offense come to a screen.
-
Fantastic call actually, with as hard as UNC has been pursuing the ball.
-
How do you not flag the receiver for dancing in the endzone? Seems strange to me.
-
Why are we talking about this in the football forum? Take it elsewhere if you want.
-
Doesn't help these refs are partially blind. Completely miss the facemask against Studsrud the end of last drive, and then super ticky tack PI call.
-
There are definitely issues, not just injury problems. It almost looks like this team is apathetic. No fire, blown assignments, no one stepping up to make the play.
-
Field goals aren't going to cut it. Not with the defense on the field.
-
The offense will have to stop punting. Pretty much have to go on 4th the rest of the game. Defense can't stop a thing.
-
Yeah, Carter cannot cover. It's apparent to see what Davis is doing.
-
Santiago did that pretty much himself. There were some good blocks downfield but those two jukes were impressive.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2017-18 Season
Feff replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
That was my biggest beef with the overturned goal. There is no way you can say with that video evidence that there was indisputable proof UND was offside. If you can't say beyond the shadow of a doubt, then simply leave it as it stands. Especially with the linesman right on the blue line looking down and making that call. You're saying a crappy camera angle can do his job better than he can on the ice. -
Last week bye gets us to full-on recruiting season earlier this year...
-
My expectations for this season have changed. Playoffs are a pipe dream now. Even if we win out, we've lost a whole lot of credibility. Therefore, my hope for the rest of the season is that the coaches right the ship and start building that credibility back up. The program has fallen on it's face and done it in a national spotlight with the rankings that we've had. Gotta get some of that respect back for future seasons.
-
At this point, you move Heidelbaugh to a linebacker or TE or some other position where he might contribute next year. If he's the answer at QB for the future then we're in trouble.
-
Thank you for saying this. There are few excuses I can give the line this year. To me it looks like there is no desire to put the defensive guy into the ground. Where's the mean? Running the ball isn't just technique, it's also mentality. You have to have the attitude you are going to smack the guy across from you and push them back. Too often the line goes nowhere or goes backward, even on power runs.
-
With the way this team is I'm going to be shocked if they win another game the rest of the year. Defense is atrocious and the offense is a joke.
-
And yup. That's the game. Goodbye everyone.
-
Any team that UND plays this year just have to run straight up the middle. We can't stop anyone.
-
Hahahaha, a senior defensive lineman has a QB dead to rights and he whiffs.
-
Did the whole team forget how to tackle over the offseason?
-
This wasn't supposed to be a rebuilding year. This was supposed to be a year we pushed deep in the playoffs. We had a returning offensive line, we had a pair of proven running backs, a wide receiver group that produced late last year, and a senior QB. We had an experienced defense with a few holes. That's what it was supposed to be going in. Obviously everything has gone to crap so you know, there's that.
-
At this time next season, Rudolph needs to be coaching elsewhere. Prior to that last drive, the offense had 47 yards. That's embarrassing.
-
We suck enough today, we don't need the officials helping MSU any more.
-
Officials cost us the first td. They then let the MSU line get away with murder that sets up another td, and finally they have a track team setting the ball into play that costs an insane amount of time at the end which leads to a scramble.
