It would be nice to actually watch the game. Pluto feed is absolute garbage for me and the watchbigsky site keeps giving me a playback failure.

The defense performed well against SHSU and previously against UW, they are not my concern despite ISU's reliance on the quick passing game. I think there will be adjustments there. My concern is the offense. With some of the weapons that UND has, especially at RB, we should be able to put up numbers and chew up clock. That's only happened in spurts so far this year. This needs to be a statement game for the offense following some success in Texas last week.

I'm a big fan of running a zone block scheme and let Santiago find the hole. I think that's where he's at his best, give him a single cut and let him hit a hole with speed.

Toivinen might be a better run blocker but if Izzy can stretch the field that is more valuable for either the play-action or else pulling safeties out of the box to help the run game.

Only 21 passing attempts in the game for SDSU. Sounds more like Ark-Pine Bluff is just incredibly awful.

Recruiting good talent is nice, but you have to use it. Honestly, if Rudy could call an entire game like he did the first half I would get off his back.

I thought he was playing well before he got injured last year. He doesn't have the flash of Harris but I think he's much more sound as a cover guy.

Going forward, the wideouts need to be 14 as your speed guy to stretch the defense, 31 to dominate the intermediate routes and jump balls, and 89 to slip in while teams are focusing on the other two. 11 has shown nothing this season.

First half I gave him credit, he had a good rhythm, the offense was moving and he was keeping SHSU defense on it's heels. That completely flipped in the second half and he outcoached himself.

Schmidt. Defense held many a short field to only field goals.

It's definitely a big win but could have been so much easier on the nerves had the offense shown up for more than one drive in the second half!

Case in point, the PI play our 77 was mugged getting pressure. Should have been offsetting penalties there.

It also bothers me how there has yet to be a holding penalty on SHSU's offense line. I'm seeing it, they are calling it on UND, please call it both ways.
