Honestly can't disagree. I think Rudy is calling it pretty well right now. First couple of plays had me iffy but he's been mixing it pretty well. Passing game would be doing better without some drops.
Toivinen has two balls hit him in the hands and he drops both. Wanzek has a ball a half foot from the ground and makes the catch. At this point #11 is not earning his playtime, get some speed in there instead.
Passing game is going to have to push something downfield. You can see the SHSU defense not respecting it at all. Stacking the box and bring pressure on every pass. A receiver is going to have to win a battle somewhere.
No and no. Running the ball every play is why the offense usually is stagnant. I have no problem calling a passing play on that 4th down, but the QB needs to be aware of backside pressure.
