So how’s spring ball going? How on earth is there not a spring ball roster? Is everyone back other than those we had heard about after the season?

Next year is a make or break year for Sather. I’m not saying we have to win the conference, that would be nice, but we have to finish in the top half in my mind. I said yesterday that I want it to be a quiet offseason in terms of the transfer portal but in all honesty that really only applies to a handful on this team. If any of the freshmen were to announce I would be super bummed. Bummed if Norman or Danielson did too. Other than that I think the open scholarship spot could be of better use than some of these guys.

I agree he needs to work on his shot for sure. Webb, I would argue was similar but I would rather have Grant as the off the bench PG.

I didn’t watch today much after the 1st half but I really like Reid Grant. He was supposed to redshirt this year but what the season became forced their hand a bit.

It’s been bad lately. Most people probably don’t care but you can’t find basketball highlights like ever. Not what it used to be.

Ford

Looks like a 7 footer on Dodge. Hasn’t played much this year guessing due to injury but not sure.

I’ve been following this guy for a while, I want him. He’s got a teammate BJ Freeman that I wouldn’t mind too. This tells me Igbaunago is going to be honored on Saturday and moving on after the year.

Calder

Ok with South Dakota, they’re a team with an established coach and you mentioned essentially losing 2 players. We lost 3 starters minimum and some. I’m not at all happy with what transpired this year and if our March even closely resembles last March I may get my pitchfork out but there’s a definite difference. Sather can recruit, I believe that. He needs to retain those recruits after a year or two though.

Grant, Bruns, Omot, Eaglestaff, Matthews, Levias and McGrath. Nice freshman and sophomore class next year.

Either way, teams saw talent that’s for sure.

I’m super excited about him but I do wonder if some of these were no longer offers.

Love this sequence from Omot. I’m really hoping to see the hawk landing gif from Sather tomorrow.

Would have been nice to pull the upset to help convince him. Also, wish more of the football guys were there.
