Ok with South Dakota, they’re a team with an established coach and you mentioned essentially losing 2 players. We lost 3 starters minimum and some. I’m not at all happy with what transpired this year and if our March even closely resembles last March I may get my pitchfork out but there’s a definite difference. Sather can recruit, I believe that. He needs to retain those recruits after a year or two though.

We just don’t have the athletes. Been apparent all year but really apparent today. We have a handful of D1 players. Also, I know Nero is coming back from injury but can’t imagine he’s too pleased with his playing time.

I think that things will change soon with Fenton in charge of the Summit now.

How do we get UND to be consistently in the conversation for the Summit League championship? I think we have a decent facility but we really struggle to get people to attend games. That could be because we obviously have struggled this year and Covid hesitation but still we should draw more than we do. Going to the Summit was supposed to give us familiar opponents that would help crowds. I truly think we have the right coach too. People have ridiculed him for the lack of talent he’s brought in but I disagree with that. He’s brought in some really good players, keeping them is another topic.

Agreed. This is why I’m not out on Sather. He’s got the game plan to keep us in it. We just need to execute at the end. Just need more experience closing games out.
