I would say not playing well. He’s losing minutes and quickly. At least he’s getting his school paid for though!

This is a weird argument? Fine if you don’t want Danny but signature win as an OC? He controls one side of the ball, which happens to be the side that’s been the most successful the last few years. I feel like this season proved we can certainly win with it. The offense overcame our brutal D all year.

If this is at home, we win. No doubt. But it wasn't and we lost because we came out flat. Had a couple of missed big plays by key veterans that could have turned it. On to next season I guess. Will be interesting to see the “first off I want to thank the University of North Dakota but having said that I will be entering the transfer portal” tweets the coming days.

I don’t think this offer was ever mentioned anywhere. So right now we have 3 players coming in next year, so to me that means 3 coming out. It’s gotta be Sueker (for sure), Nero and Danielson leaving right? Danielson I think could come back and I’m not positive but I think Nero could too. We do have an opening right now with Ndouko not on campus but I think he’s still coming in January.

I haven’t been a fan of Nero for most of this year but today he really showed up. Had some wtf moments but was huge. Levias is my favorite player. He’s got an old man type game. Agree with Omot needing to work on doing the short pull up.

I don’t know if it’s worth it. As long as AJ is on the floor, he should probably be guarding him.

I would think you would always want to redshirt non-schollies. They could eventually earn a scholarship. There best years aren’t going to be year 1 out of high school.

I’m not saying Grant should play major minutes but I do think he should have more minutes than Nero. If that’s him having 1 min and Nero 0 that’s fine or both 0 that’s okay too.

Yes. I think he could take Nero minutes away. I also always love what I see from Grant. Doesn’t provide any scoring himself really but adds a lot of vision to the court.

Levias is my takeaway. Love seeing him out there. Hope he can continue to contribute more as the season goes on.

That’s a fair point. I think Grant is a very smart player but yeah doesn’t even think about shooting much. But I also don’t want Nero going in there just chucking.

My quick takeaways and full disclosure, I was watching this game on and off as had other things to do: - Eaglestaff should start. He’s getting more and more confident each game. - Nero shouldn’t play at all. Give any minutes you want him in to Reid Grant. - Trent has the tools but needs to slow down or settle down. Seems too frantic. We have some pieces for sure but unless something really clicks this is still probably a 6th or 7th place finish in the Summit League.

Too quick of a hook on Trent. Nero doesn’t need to be out there that quick.
