I think Western should be a win. I didn’t realize it was at 11am on a Thursday though. I think they can pull off the St. Thomas game or the UMKC. St. Thomas is not nearly as good on the road, we also hung with ORU at home. UMKC they’ve beat them before so they should have the confidence but I get it’s a road test.

There’s 5 games left to the season, if UND continues to play as they have the past two games, I don’t think 4-1 is out of reach. 3-2 is more likely and 2-3 is probably the minimum acceptable (it’s not acceptable but anything less than this is a huge disappointment) outcome.

UND is now 295 in KenPom which is the first time they’ve been out of the 300s since Jan 29, 2021. Not trying to say 295 is impressive but nice to be moving up.

You’re not wrong. I’m probably too harsh on Jones but it was time to move on at the end.

I liken Jones a bit to Chris Mussman. He could get talent, or at least did until the end, but they seemed to underachieve imo. Just don’t think he was a good actual coach in games. I know Sather isn’t liked by all but I think he is the far superior X’s and O’s coach.

They do consistently complain about him but he’s had a pretty successful run. Starts slow a lot but picks it up in conference season play and the conference tournament.

I feel like if his early season illness wouldn’t have happened he may have never left the rotation. That hurt him and I think he had an ankle injury or something. Don’t know if there’s any behind the scenes things too that have hurt his playing time.

Let’s go. Brooks needs more minutes. His ability to finish at the rim is awesome. Good defender too. Eaglestaff needs to play more within the offense.
