Eli only played like 30 total mins this past season. I know it’s going from P5 to the Summit but I think his immediate impact should be somewhat tempered. I think this is a big get for sure but we will see what he actually does on the court.

did sather whisper something in his ear ("google nistler") in the handshake line when we played him?
I think BJ and Trey probably helped a lot on this one.

He does have 2 years left though. Schlossman already said so. Albrecht didn’t play in any games as a freshman so that year didn’t count. His sophomore year was the Covid season that didn’t count for anyone. So he does in fact have 2 years of eligibility left if he wants to use both.
Interesting. My bad @The Sicatoka

I’m tired of people on this site bashing Albrecht. Some of the same are saying we have no loyalty amongst players anymore. He just wants to play Sioux hockey. My guess, if one of the top 6 forwards forgot their skates, Albrecht would say “here, use mine”! He is a team first guy! I do not want to see us lose a newbie because Albrecht is going through the motions and getting lots of ice time. But, he’ll be the guy giving 100+% during practice and games pushing his team mates to play well enough to make him sit. He and the coaches know Carson’s role, if he plays it will be because he make the team better by being on the ice!
I guess I wasn’t saying that to bash Albrecht. I was just saying to the other poster that he does not have 2 years remaining like the others. This is his final year no matter what. Sorry.

@brianvfI'd honestly only claim 7D for now until Strathmann is official one way or the other.
Also, Albrecht, Persson, Jamernik, Gaber, and Ness each have two seasons of play yet remaining. By eligibility they'd be "Jr". (They all played the 2020-21 year which doesn't count and 'never happened'.)
Albrecht shouldn’t be part of this list.

Would guess he has one of the SDs written all over him. Probably SDSU.

Oh yeah forgot he left for Utah State. Makes sense.

Montana State just got a commitment from big man Jackson Grant. Former McDonald’s All American. I really hope there’s some unreported offers out there. We need a big guy
That was short lived lol

Terrence Brown picked up an offer from VMI. I thought someone on here said he was going to be visiting. Has he visited yet? If so no offer?
I saw on Twitter he was supposed to be visiting. No clue if it happened or not.

His JUCO coach is boys with KC assistant coach...
Woulda been a good get, on to the next.
I just wish we didn’t have to play him twice a year now haha. I really like his game.

We need more than Matthews down low
I agree. I like Mathews but going to need more than him.

Yes clean and simple is best in my opinion. I also like having something that goes across all sports. The collar and arm sleeve in this pic
matches the collar of the hockey jersey
I don’t think basketball had it but something like that I would love to bring back. Maybe it ties too closely in to the Native America tradition or something where we couldn’t do it but I would love to just bring that small piece back across all sports. Consistency across sports.

UND is not getting Eli King, sorry not a chance. The NIL agreements have changed the entire recruiting landscape now. Any decent higher end recruit is shopping NIL agreements and UND will never be able to compete at that level.
You guys may be right, I just know his name has been connected here. Saying someone’s not coming here, you’re going to get right more often than wrong.
