Heard if tyree isn’t eligible, they may be pulling the red shirt off one of the freshmen
Who? I really don’t feel like any of them would make sense. Doppler? Sure didn’t look ready at the state tourney last year. Feels like it’s going to be a crowded (but more talented) rotation again, anyways.

Finally, people are starting to call bulls**t. Bubba needs to go.
I’ve been saying this for years that Bubba just needs to step aside and let Danny run the show. I don’t want Bubba fired but I don’t want to lose Danny either. I get that the offense didn’t perform yesterday so maybe not the best time to be hyping him up. Bubba did a great job of fixing the mess Muss left but we have plateaued.

The dropped picks and the fumbles really bothered me. The game was there for the taking. Boise isn’t that good. Tommy absolutely !@#$ the bed out there. That fumble reminded me of his pick against NDSU at home. Should’ve run for a probably 5 yard gain and instead got greedy.
This. So many opportunities in the first half to go up on them but we couldn’t capitalize. Tommy didn’t play well, fact. Seems like the receivers weren’t getting separation much which resulted in Tommy trying to improvise in the pocket and the fumbles/sacks.
Despite giving up 42 points, I thought the defense gave me a bit of confidence for the rest of the year. That may sound ridiculous but it’s true. Capitalize on a few more of those turnover opportunities and this boards mood is completely different.
I will say, I wasn’t able to watch this game as closely as I would have liked, especially the second half so some of my opinions may be wrong haha.

Our offense will be able to score, it’s a matter of whether our defense can stop anything. We’ve shown slight improvement from last year, imo, but a whole lot of bending and not breaking.

You, hoops, goodgood and whoever else need to take your running bits somewhere else. I think you guys can provide valuable input but you get so stuck on played out bits.

So a team we barely beat last year we are gonna just blow em out because why? If an even average quarterback and average wr's has the same time as drake's qb we are in trouble. plus the smu guy might be a load
last team we played last year we were down 28-14 at half and lost by 7 to weber
last team they played they were tied at halftime and lost by 2 to weber
this is going down the wire and ...............special teams might actually be important????????
I wasn’t able to watch the game closely due to a wedding but the 360 guys made it seem like we had a lot of QB pressures but nothing resulted in sacks. Is that not correct?

Jacks opening drive score 7-0 over powerhouse western Oregon.
Looks like the Jacks have another good WR in the making with, true freshman, Griffin Wilde. Caught that TD.

https://x.com/e_martinson1/status/1697043884533068018?s=46&t=pSkEb_uzco-kdaPo_-o3BA this doesn’t excite me that much. The south endzone was always the better one but at least open the entire north end zone and not just the ends.
Side note: no idea why I can’t embed tweets right now. -

Would be nice to get the “Saint” back in Kelly Green (and on the sideline).
What capacity do you envision that? OC under Danny? Guessing he’s gunning for a HC spot. When/if Danny gets the head gig here, I’m thinking he elevates Sam King to OC but Danny is probably still calling the shots.

Can we steal Santiago, Cole Reyes and Deion Harris from this as well?
31 minutes ago, geaux_sioux said:Close but no cigar. Big Snacks was Edwards from the late Miss era. Best nose we’ve had in D1. Did pretty well for Memphis after he left here.
I’m just reminiscing with what could have beens. Remember Cam Kuksa? Him and Reyes came in together and Kuksa played as a true freshman, I believe Reyes had an injury. Then Kuksa had I believe a back or spinal injury? Kid could hit.

They'll use the 4 strategically unless major injuries occur. He'll be even better after a year of winter weights and spring ball. He also has a cannon for an arm, if ever needed in a pinch or some trick-eration.
I’m always for preserving a redshirt but with the portal the way it is now, may as well play them while you have them if they’re going to be difference makers. I get he may not have surpassed some of the WRs anyways though.

Have to miss the game due to a wedding, people should start looking at the football calendar when scheduling weddings, that’s what I did! Put a 50 burger on the bulldogs. Want to see Feeney and Romfo get action.

11 gets 4 games plus playoffs without burning a year, now, remember?
With that said, this is #2’s team, but the upcoming QB battle between #3 and #11 will be intense. Iron sharpens iron, all good things for UND football under Freund.
Probably #2’s team next year as well. https://x.com/undfootball360/status/1696163745012101588?s=46&t=pSkEb_uzco-kdaPo_-o3BA

after 4 weeks, if UND’s record is …
4-0 or 3-1 - gonna be a special year
2-2 - status quo, first round playoff exit… rinse and repeat … look forward to change, but won’t happen anytime soon
1-3 or 0-4 - time for change. Move on up Danny or find someone else.
of the above, we all know what is most probable. Will something “unique” happen in 2023?
This certainly isn’t fair. While I agree we shouldn’t accept losses to Boise and SDSU, you gotta remember we are talking about the MWC favorite and the reigning FCS champ and both on the road. A very successful season can still be had with a 2-2 start.

One thing that I will be super interested in seeing is how the rotation plays out. We all were frustrated with how long UND played a 10+ man rotation. I think we will see that again this year. I believe the talent will be better top to bottom though. This is especially true if Tyree is granted eligibility, which sounds doubtful.
1 - Ihenacho, King2 - Eaglestaff, Brooks
3 - Omot, Danielson
4 - Mayar, Mara
5 - T, Kuljuhovic, Mathews
A lot more talent, in my opinion, that will be harder to slice playing time.

She is super athletic and think her best hoops is ahead of her.
