  1. I may have said something along those lines. For sure thought he was the best shooter of our bigs but man he cannot buy one. And yeah he has an ugly looking shot.
  2. Jealous. I was just watching the Hooker led Big Sky champ team the other night thinking how good we had it.
  3. Sets a mean illegal screen
  4. Unfortunately, agreed.
  5. Let’s get the W tonight and build some momentum.
  6. This^
  7. Idk if it’s hype more as just someone that didn’t sign. Also, stars don’t really mean that much especially at this level.
  8. I don’t know for sure on Headings or Harris but I guess I would be surprised if they’re signing with us during this period. Think we would have waited for the release until all were signed.
  9. Yes please go interact with this guy! It may not be the ultimate reason he chooses a place but Schmidty wants us out there doing our best to show the love.
  10. Not saying this is what happened by any means but with the transfer portal era I always get concerned players that are performing well minds wander elsewhere.
  11. Alright, quick reset after the Hawaii game. No sense dwelling on that one, on to Idaho. UND heads to Moscow on 12/3 for an 8 PM tip in the Big Sky–Summit Challenge, and this should be a good chance to see how the guys bounce back. Idaho is 4–3 with a couple legit wins, including Washington State and CSUN (yep, the same CSUN that got us). They’re sitting at KenPom 236 while UND is 325, and the projection has Idaho winning 78–71, but this is still a matchup where UND should be able to hang around if they clean some things up. The Vandals are led by two young guys who can score it: • Kolton Mitchell (12.1 PPG, 4.3 APG) — quick guard, makes things happen • Jackson Rasmussen (15.6 PPG) — 6’7” freshman who’s already their go-to guy Idaho’s coached by Alex Pribble, year three for him, and they look a lot more organized than they’ve been in the past. For UND, this one is just about getting back to basics, playing with some energy, and showing they can respond after a rough one vs Hawaii. It’s a winnable game if they come out sharp. Game’s on ESPN+ for anyone wanting to tune in.
  12. If offered the job, not that it’s going to be open anytime soon, you think Rico would take the job?
  13. I’m calling for 300+ yards rushing. Call me selfish, I don’t care! Ziebarth with 126 Seidl with 93 Langama with 80 QB with 42
  14. Agreed. I don’t necessarily feel the same way if they just transfer to transfer to a like school (Bruns and Schiller) but if you’re going somewhere that is in theory better football than good for you.
  15. To me, Isaac was retained as a way to keep the players with familiarity. Obviously, Kostich was too but players were pleading for Fruechte to be the guy. It made sense for Schmidt. However, knowing Schmidt’s desire to be a HC, I have to imagine that he had a short list of OC’s in mind and not sure if Fruechte would have been on it. I guess I say all that basically saying I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a separation this offseason and Schmidt brings his guy in. Whether that’s Gordie our someone else.
  16. UND, sitting at KenPom 308, wrapped up their MTE in Western Illinois with a split and now heads to take on a really strong Hawaii squad ranked KenPom 102. Hawaii is 4-2 with their only losses coming in tight games against Oregon and Arizona State. KenPom has them favored in every remaining game this season, which tells you how solid this group is. The Rainbow Warriors are led by 7 foot senior Isaac Johnson (#20) who is putting up 16.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game while also showing he can step out and knock down a three. Behind him, former South Dakota guard Dre Bullock has been a reliable second option. He is averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds and gives them another steady scoring threat. Hawaii’s defense is the real problem. They own the 25th best defensive effective field goal percentage in the country at 43.2 which makes them one of the tougher defensive teams UND will see all year. On paper, this has the potential to be a long night. KenPom projects the matchup as an 81-65 loss for UND. Tip is set for 11 pm local time and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
  17. No matter the opponent, winning a D1 game on the road is always a plus. I wonder how many people had Greyson Uelmen being our leading scorer through 8 games? Really like his game.
  18. I thought I heard lisfranc
  19. How about Chad Braegelmann from SCSU?
  20. Pretty sure Jones is our starting 5, when healthy. Not super excited but yeah.
  21. Pulling Ouse’s shirt says a lot for what they think of Erikson, in my opinion.
  22. Guessing his back is acting up. Might be a thing all season.
  23. Last night was the most I have been able to watch this season but Garrett Anderson is a bit disappointing, in my opinion. Thought he was going to provide a bigger scoring punch.
  24. Sorry. I’ve been slacking this year. I see Karson Ouse on the court. I think that’s his debut? Surprised by that.
