I'm too lazy to research it...has there ever been a college player who was (or projected to be) the first overall pick in the NHL draft? There has to have been. DiPietro maybe?

I have only seen each of them play a couple of times, but at this point, I don't see Toews having as big of an impact as PK will.

He is only a sophmore! He looked pretty good when they played Moorhead.

I believe Kessel is listed at 6'0" 180lbs. I don't know if he is 6', but I thougth he was pretty stocky.

Jordan Sigalet will get sympathy votes. He is the goalie with MS.

According to Heisenberg's site...Kessel (oops, I mean) Kassell committed to Army today.

I believe he is a "walk on", who is out for the year with an injury (knee/leg).

VandeVelde looked really good tonight. Moorhead didn't play real well but you could tell when VandeVelde was on the ice. His first goal was a thing of beauty. Walked out of the corner, faked a pass to Drew Fisher and walked around the goalie.

Jay Rosehill worked him over pretty good. Pakovich was tough once he got up.

Murray didn't miss a shift.
