Not sure NDSU should really be listed in this at all. Majority of that online traffic is just Lakes updating a few computers and his phone every few seconds.

Looks like the Wild are buying out Parise and Suter. Could Zach end up in Seattle now, and at what price?
-
Whatever, lets just have another good season. I care more about where they finish than where they start, but it certainly makes you question the credibility of who it putting this together. That isn't to diminish what SIU did, but #4 sure seems high. I don't care about the head to head matchup with UND, because they were much better as the season went on ... I still think #4 is too high.

Looks like he has a pretty athletic brother as well.

Wow, Beach is huge!

Maybe I do remember seeing that now. Lock up Gilman or Johnson!

Definitely disappointed that we couldn't get Azure, but it's not like one good season is enough to win all recruiting battles with an NDSU team that has dominated for so long. I'm still glad to see the caliber of recruits we are going after, and while I like Azure's size, there are still offers out to some nice looking Defensive Ends. Schweigert, King or Hamann all look good. Schweigert would be great being from ND but he is listed at 6'. Not sure how important the height is at that position, but King certainly has size at 6' 5" and 270. I am still hoping for the following: RB - Edwards but Gilman and Johnson would both be solid; add this to a already nice RB group with Ziebarth coming in. WR - Hegerle! This could be a long shot, but would be so awesome. Love how the players are pushing for him on twitter. Aside from Hegerle we still have offers out to some really nice athletes. We need speed! LB - Really hoping Luna Larson follows his brother. CB - I don't know enough about Dixon, but you would think we would have the inside track with Otis. Would be a bummer to lose this one to NDSU. Don't know enough about the kid's skill level or how he matches up though. Hopefully we start seeing some more commitments rolling in this week.

Are his academics where they need to be?
-
nice, now he went from being a recruit, to a quality recruit. right?
-
Ryan Duncan is only a phone call away!

Congrats to Hak! I was always a fan and glad to see he is getting another opportunity. I'll pull for him, as long as it isn't against The Wild!

Bummer, I was really hoping for Altepeter. Hope we get Luna and 1 more.
-
Love the Teiken commitment! Now what about Altepeter?!?
-
Still hope we have a decent target at QB. Never know when someone will get injured or when a kid may enter the transfer portal. It is pretty easy to lose your depth quickly these days.
-
My wish list: RB - Gilman or Johnson WR - Hegerle & Parrish DE - Azure & Teiken LB - Altepeter & Larson Landing even half of these guys would be phenomenal. Glad to see us targeting high end talent. Hopefully these kids see the direction of the program and want to come contribute. It would be nice to see us balance out regional recruiting against some of the Dakota schools.

Did I read correctly that Xavier Trevino is transferring? That seems like quite the blow to our OL depth. Not a ton of experience, but he seemed to have a lot of potential. If I recall, he left Nebraska because he wanted a scholarship opportunity to make life easier on his family. Can't imagine why he would be looking to transfer again. Says in his note he is willing to play anything, primarily OL or DL. Would it be possible this kid just wasn't going to cut it here? Could it be a coaches suggestion that he look for opportunities? It seems strange to my, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else know what is up, or has any thoughts here. Or, is this a kid that just isn't happy anywhere he goes? College is a big adjustment for some kids; maybe that is where the struggle is?

JOPRO! Best FB to ever put on a pair of cleats!
-
NDSU?? Or it doesn't matter, right??
-
You would think they would be moving on altogether. As the deadline passed for transferring to FBS, I don't know what program these guys would want to leave UND for at the FCS level, given where UND's program is currently at. Unless someone was transferring to a different FCS level school due to specific educational programs not offered at UND.

Any big fat guys who can clog up the middle?

Does anyone with more knowledge than myself know the likelihood of Nguon getting drafted at some point? Hoping he will have a nice fall, but it will be interesting to see what kind of attention he will get after that.

The Jankes burned us.

My best guess: At Idaho State - Win At Utah State - Win Vs. Drake - Win Vs NDSU - Loss : UND is really good at home, but until we beat the Bison, its tough to pick against them. At South Dakota - Loss : UND is the better team here, but UND/USD games get weird, and playing in Vermillion can be tough. It is the kind of game we should win if we want to continue moving towards being a dominant program. At Southern Illinois - Win : This one will be interesting. Beating SIU on the road would be a really nice win. Not sure what to expect from them next year, as they have been so hot or cold this season. Vs Western Illinois - Win At Missouri State - Win Vs Youngstown - Win Vs Illinois State - Win At South Dakota State - Loss : The SDSU win was huge this season, but playing them on the road is a bit different. If my other guesses are correct and UND can head into this game on a 5 game win streak, potentially fighting for a Valley Championship, then who knows what happens here. Have to limit the Janke bros. 8-3 with an FBS win. Does this get you a seed with the playoff field going back to normal? The biggest issue I see with my predictions is, I don't see us getting swept by the Dakota schools and still having this good of a record, BUT until this team proves they can win on the road, some of these will be tough. I could maybe swap the USD and SIU predictions. Can't wait to watch.

I just want to see this team take the next step forward. Can't take a step back and miss the playoffs next year (No losing to Idaho St!) ... this is a playoff caliber team, but that is not guarantee. I also get sick of hearing that we are a different team on the road, but it will continue to be a conversation until we prove otherwise ... which I think we will. I will be very interested to see how some of the new kids contribute, who stays, and who we can pickup via the portal; hopefully a safety and a speedy receiver, maybe a kicker/punter. We should certainly be a more attractive spot for transfers than we were a few years ago.

I would take Studsrud over Ketteringham and his stupid corn rows. I also got sick of watching Kett try to fit the ball into a window that wasn't there. Studs may not have had the most talent, but he seemed like a good team guy and he played tough.
