This is very frustrating watching a team UND should have beat move onto the championship. Potentially against another team we should have beat. Would of, should of, could of. We outplayed teams we lost to, and this is how it ends. Very very frustrating.

Extremely disappointing, at a position where we desperately need consistency and reliability. I'm all for a kid doing what is best for them, but I find it very tacky to do this at the last second. I have to assume someone came in at the last minute with a better offer, or a bigger school or something, but still extremely disappointing.

That is the part I don't get. These guys are getting opportunities so many people never get, and its just not good enough. I don't understand what some of them want.

Does anyone know if Landry would be a coaching target to replace Bubba? I assume he doesn't have enough experience at this point as it looks like he is still a QB coach. I'd assume he would need to get some coordinator experience before he would be looked at as a head coach, but I really don't know how that typically works, or what is looked for. I suppose if you're the right guy with the right plan. I know a lot of people had talked about Freund being the next guy up, but it seems like he has some room for improvement in his own game first. Not that Bubba is going anywhere yet, but just curious who some of our watchlist coaches would be.

Agree, if he is as good as advertised, I don't see why he wouldn't step right in. Even if you keep Brady on the Kickoffs, and just use the new kid for FGs.

Kaupenen certainly has a motor, but you're right, too many blown coverages. That would definitely be intriguing.
