I always felt you would see more 3rd-period dominations early in the season when other teams haven't reached their peak conditioning levels; but we'll see & hopefully the Sioux continue this trend. Massen's been an enigma to me lately. I don't know what's going on with him. I believe he's genuinely injured but I don't understand his lack of intensity on the ice at times. Very talented & it would be nice if he played up to his potential on a steady basis...

Relax & take a deep breath. SCSU, just like their previous 16 or so seasons in the conference, isn't going to bring any championship banners home this year. Some teams are destined for greatness & others are destined for eternal mediocrity & chokejobs, aka the Huskies. They may surprise here & there & may even sneak away from the Ralph with some points, but in the long run they'll disappoint as long as they have the same coach...

I'd probably get ejected by the WCHA Commish in the 1st period for unbalanced, extremely partial officiating They should require that refs watch videotapes of all games they officiate so they can see some of the nonsensical calls/non-calls they make in an attempt to improve the quality of the game. Geez, everyone should be held accountable in their professions & refs are no different; I'm sick & tired of refs screwing us--even when we win. A good example: A WAC officiating crew had some kind of suspensions levied against them a short while ago for some horrendous calls they made in a football game. Rant over, at least it's better than committing road rage...
