On FSN. He talked about how the tapes arrived late so they opperated off of one tape and that the (don't quote me on this) Gophers would have trouble turning it around on Saturday after playing as hard as they did tonight. He then gave props to Holy Cross. FSN just snubbed the Holy Cross Captain saying Hi to his folks and friends. Really classy

Congrats to Holy Cross. They came out and they proved something. Even if they don't make the Frozen Four they go back to Worcester, Mass knowing that they came out to the Palace in the Plains and the slew Goliath. They proved something. Also, this is REALLY going to help Holy Cross in recruiting and AHA in respectability. They have a long way to go, sure, but it was a MAJOR step.

Apparently has an offensive upside, but I wouldn't count on it. He's supposedly got a good character, good defensive positioning, good skating, and has height. He needs to build up size and experience against tougher competition. I say "supposedly" because it's all second hand or third hand info. I've never seen him play either.

Hmmm No Minnesota in the Regional Championship game... so count on tape delay. I love the homerism of FSN, but it is Minnesota's Fox channel.

Yeah, the Holy Cross victory will help the atmosphere, but it could be used to pump up Michigan as well. I mean, their captain should be saying "Hey, no one thought Holy Cross could beat Minnesota, the same as those that think we can't beat UND. Let's go out there and make UND the underdogs!" We definitely need to win faceoffs, complete passes, and stay out of the box.

Wow.... just wow. We can start ridiculing the Gophers now and there is really no excuse they can give. I mean, they should have KILLLED Holy Cross. This team has NEVER won an NCAA regional game. They didn't win an OT game all season! They have NOWHERE NEAR the talent the Gophers have. There is NO EXCUSE YOU CAN IMAGINE to losing to the lowest seed in the tourney.

I agree. Coach Pearl is in the locker room saying "They're gonna blow us out, aren't they? Let's go out there in OT and give it our best shot! WE CAN WIN THIS GAME, BOYS!" Meanwhile in the Gopher locker room: "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOU GUYS? This is Holy F---ING Cross! What kind of players do you think you are!!!!" Holy Cross goes out and ends up losing, they shrug their shoulders and pat each others helmets and sit back, watch the next game with pride. If Holy Cross wins, they might as well celebrate like they've won the NC. We all know they're not going to win it all, so their first ever NCAA tourney win (which would put them ahead of SCSU ) is worthy of the dogpile on Quesada. If Minnesota wins in OT, they skate away knowing they got by on the skin of their teeth. They go back knowing that both Michigan and UND know they are perfectly beatable right now. If Minnesota loses in OT, they will skate back to the lockerroom knowing that there's nothing positive about their season left to say and only ridicule and mockery awaiting them from Minneapolis on top of UND and UW fans. It will be a bigger choke than nearly any other game I've ever watched.

Seems like you repeat yourself in this post And yeah, I consider Genoway to be a 1 for 1 replacement for Marvin. They both have similar abilities position wise. Genoway potentially could have a better offensive upside.
