Is there a love triangle between brianvf, MEg, and Diggler?
-
I'm not elusive. I just enjoy playing "hard to get." I'm not "easy" like Mafiaman.
-
Other than Caruth (UMD) and Moffatt (Michigan), are there any others on that list already committed to DI? Somehow I think Rust has committed somewhere already, but I can't be sure.
-
Fricken A! Mertens is the teacher I'm working on a school project for! GRR!!! Work and play getting mixed is not cool.
-
I can only dream of being as cool as Mafiaman. There, I said it. Mafiaman, you rock.

Uh.... gonna disagree with part of what you said. Radke's been SOLID since rejoining the lineup. I agree that it is difficult to take anyone out of the lineup at this time, but I doubt Radke is being kept out of it because he's not good enough to play. Health is a concern and if that's the case, so be it. I guess we'll have to wait until game time to see what happens. I would not be surprised at all to see Radke in the lineup, but I wouldn't want to be Hakstol. Making this decision will be tough.

NHL Video portal doesn't work for me. In case it doesn't work for you either here's another version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoHLqMLvVLM

Yeah, but LaPoint and Marto played well last night. Can't take Genoway out. Mertens has been hot lately. Maybe sit that penalty prone Jones.
-
Geez, Diggler! Why not just come out and propose to her! Step up to the plate, man! She's cute, she loves hockey, and she's immune to your witticism. She may be short, but then you can finally claim that someone "looks up" to you!

Checks in the mail.

Heh, I'm gonna get flamed for this but: Thul reminds me of Campion right after Campion joined the WCHA. He is steady, consistent, makes calls that are unarguably penalties, and seems to be uncorrupted by the 6 rulebook penalty-enforced parity that Shepherd imposes. That being said, give it time. Thul will come around to Greg's thinking just like Campion did. I can't remember where it was said, but the WCHA is to officials as the Texas Rangers are to pitchers. It's where they go for their careers to die.

I'd like to know why AZ refuses to accept my brib..I mean donation!

I find it amusing that someone takes a pot shot at another person and then, when called on it, says "relax." Seriously, I can understand taking pot shots at opposing teams, players, and coaches...maybe even schools. But singling out a single fan whose heart is worn on her sleeve every time she goes to the game is rather heartless. I do not doubt you act in jest, Oxbow, but the joke is only being laughed at by you and one other poster. I'm not sure that the rest of us find it as amusing in the slightest.

I know MEg personally, though not as well as Diggler knows her. I can tell you one thing: She's a 100% bona-fide good person. She LOVES her team much like Cubs fans love their team. Sure, they've sucked for forever (thought MTU has won it all more recently than the Cubs have) but she stands by her team 110%. I really think it is unfair for some one to come on here and pass judgment on looks and who she roots for. Saddens me to see something like this. By the way, MEg visits this site. It is Running with the Dogs' blog: Woman Warrior

Maybe. I'm thinking Zacharias outplayed him.

I'd have to be seriously pissed to watch basketball over hockey. No... I'd probably have to be out cold. Never fear though, I would gladly watch basketball over Nascar. Both equally suck, but Nascar takes the cake. Need proof? Listen to KFAN when they have Nascar on. Simply unbelievable. Makes me want to run my car into something....but I avoid it by simply turning the radio off. Harvard beat Quinn 11-0 and Michigan beat UNO 10-1. Seriously...why does analysts take the CCHA and ECACHL seriously? UAA may still lose against Michigan or Harvard, but they'd at least make it competitive.
-
Greatest heist in playoff history. Quinnipiac, who tired of the season last week, hired the nearest DI Club team to play in their stead. After going down 6-0, the Quinnipiac team decided to start taking plays from the movie "Mighty Ducks" By the end of the game, they were too busy figure skating or doing homework to care about the game. (Seriously, Quinnipiac should just forfeit the rest of the season. Embarrassing.)

I dunno. I think UMN will win tomorrow. They looked the freshest at the end the of the game. I just think the Mavs will be tired tomorrow. MSU in 3.
-
Fricken A! I got the assists right and not the goal scorer!
-
You can say that again.

I made the mistake on USCHO but... Shep went along with the AR, who wanted to help the Gophers win the game. I LOVED the ending though. The AR must have just shrugged in the lockerroom as a sort of "Well, I tried." Look, I know this hurts my chances for Whiner of the Week, but it was too many men on the ice. However, the fact remains that it is a piss poor penalty to start calling when you haven't called any penalties for over 2 full periods (last penalty in the game came at the 15:34 mark of the 2nd period IIRC) and pass up on much more blatant and more potentially harmful infractions in between. A simply atrocious standard being enforced by Daddy Shepherd and his "Good Ole Boy" officiating crew. Expect a tight game to be called tomorrow. If I were a Mav Booster, I'd offer to pay Jutting's fine just to hear Troy state what he really thinks about the officiating crew.
-
It was nice hearing Woog, though, agree that there are 5 or 6 different rulebooks. Shows that even the commentators understand what a piss poor job Daddy Shepherd's done. Jutting to the Mavs during this brief intermission: "Ok, boys, everything's legal so be careful out there. Watch each other's backs especially near the boards. Everyone's insurance info up to date? I'll have one of the assistant coaches alert the paramedics when..I mean just in case."
-
I don't know who I'd feel sorry for. Both UMN and MSUM were getting seriously jobbed in OT. I guess I may be more in favor of sympathizing with MSUM because of the Peltier head hunting play.
-
It just got worse. They left the game for the world's worst NBA team. Seriously, the T-wolves suck. The Mavs or the Gophers have a chance to be something this season yet. Uh... I'd go with the Gopher game and EFF the T-pu$$ies.
-
Shepherd is dangerous. Just let a flagrant CFB go uncalled. It's going to get REALLY dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt. And it's going to be all on Shepherd for allowing this cheap play.
