Frank Burgraff just came off like a complete dumbass on KFGO. He basically admitted he could not care less that UND will never be able to host a home football playoff game. "It's all about doing the right thing for the native americans". OK Frank. And in the meantime, the UND athletic teams will not have a conference to play in. Sounds good to me, Mr. Hockey.

Faison just said on KFGO that according to UM and UW themselves, UND will no longer be able to play Minnesota or Wisconsin in any sports after 2012. Yes, that includes hockey. If you UND is called the Fighting Sioux in 2012, kiss those rivalries goodbye for 2013 and beyond.

You obviously haven't followed any other sports than hockey. UND recruiting in football and basketball was not nearly as good in the first three years of the transition as it was this past year or even the year before that.

Anybody else find it interesting that the Mens Hockey team absolutely could not get there new jerseys in until Mid-February. And IRONICALLY, this petition gets submitted just days before they are set to switch to the new jerseys. I would assume they can keep wearing their old jerseys now, correct?

A problem I see is even if you live in GF or Fargo, you need to have cable television to get FSSN. You can live a block from UND but if you have DirecTV you are screwed. Anybody without cable in the ND/MN area is screwed.

They have had a need for a 6th game the entire time. Dom Izzo was crossing off Wagner from the list of potential opponents.

I can't believe the game of the century down in Fargo isnt on TV anywhere tonight. The game vs. UND was on state wide TV (ABC) and on FSN and Midco.

They are picked to win the conference and have a couple quality wins already this year. They are far from a pushover.

So I see Wyo, the snake, just went over to Bisonville and posted that UND is a !@#!$ team and this is not a rivalry. You are such a loser. At least post the same on both boards.

I will post this now before the end. I fail to see where all this top flight talent is that NDSU brags about. They dont look any better at any position. Maybe Bjorklund but Brekke is outdueling him.

Teams look pretty even to me.

After watching this past weekend's series I have started to come to a conclusion about this year's team. They are not as tough as previous teams - but are trying to act like they are. This team does not have the physical checking forwards that past teams had. The guys like Radke-Prpich, guys who had obviously been in fights before UND and knew how to go about instigating and/or defending teammates. The guys on this years team try to act tough and try to play Hak's style of hockey but really aren't intimidating anybody. Teams from the past 5-6 years could intimidate teams and wear them down. This year not so much. The act by Blood at the end of the game really personifies it.

Out of 32 game schedule you named 1 game he would trade it with, and only because they are much better than NDSU and in first place.

Think about it for a second: The game is on a Tuesday - that hurts attendance bigtime compared to last year when it was on a Saturday night with nothing else going on in Fargo. Also, the novelty has wore off. The first game in 7 years was last year and it was a big deal. A ton of advertising. Now its the second time they have played in two years. The Herald article stated 6-7k. I would take 7k on a Tuesday night for a basketball game anytime.

The Big Sky getting Southern Utah and Summit getting USD is looking pretty good for Big Sky right now. SUU is looking much better this year and USD is real bad. Plus, the Summits best team,Oral Roberts, is leaving after this year for the lowly Southland.

Gene whored out the game by putting it in a makeshift Fargodome so he could break the all-time attendance record and make a ton of money. What did you expect?

They have Kolpack, the head cheerleader, to defend Williams. Schnepf rips him two days ago and Kolpack has to come in and defend the kid in todays paper. "They were teasing...". Bison Jeff just couldnt help himself.
