I hope UND didn't use up their "puck luck" and lucky bounces last weekend. Two of those goals aren't happening again.

This ^^^^. He always seemed to be pestering the opponent with the puck or beating somebody to a loose one. Noticed him alot.

To add to that, I am pretty sure Faison is the Chair of the Hockey Selection Committee because he is UND's AD, not because he is a great hockey mind. Why isn't he on the NCAA Basketball selection committee? He knows a hell of a lot more about that sport.

So that means he "gets" hockey cause he sits in on meetings about the legislation of it? My point was he doesn't know hockey to make decisions on the state of the program using his own intellect. He had little to no experience with it before coming here but had a ton of experience with basketball and football.

Dumb question based on the DU ejection: Is there a penalty in hockey for hitting a defenseless player? Like on that play when they are coming across mid ice and receiving the puck but get hit from the opposite direction....Or is it only a penalty if its head contact?

If he doesn't get BB then I'm not sure what he does get. It sure as hell isn't hockey based on his past.

UNDs defense was impenetrable all weekend. Not enough credit to them for that. Blocking shots, stealing pucks...unreal. St Cloud couldnt get a good look.

Wasnt Denver a top seed a few years back when they lost to a 4 seed? Were they the #1?

Mankato loves to lose NCAA games. That was not parity, that was choking. They didn't piss a drop all game.

Summit in 3 time zones now? I heard a few years ago that having a conference with teams in 3 time zones was ridiculous and not functional.

Winning the conference tournament, yippee. We saw last night how much those tourneys mean. Nothing. Fun for fans and that's about it. I almost think they put too much value in the old Final Five. Seemed lethargic coming out if it.

Can they outbid the WCHA for the X?

The problem is we are in late March now. One bad stretch of a game seems to happen alot in March and April.
