  1. A rebounding, defensive big man would be nice. 6'6"-6'8" range. Seems like they are one body short down low.
  2. The exact opposite of last night's basketball game with Arizona. Those two couldn't stop scoring.
  3. Will the band/part of the band really be in Minneapolis or is that a rumor?
  4. Don't need 7 footers. Need 6'8"-240. Would be just fine with a couple of those.
  5. They are completely out of it. Mentally checked out before tipoff.
  6. They look really excited to have driven 5 hours for an end of the year semi-meaningless game.
  7. 46 points from the Jacks. Yeesh. That is 31 points below their season average. Let's hope we look better than that on the offensive end.
  8. I should have stated "hockey jobs", like pro hockey athletes have. I still don't understand why they think they should be paid a year round wage by USA Hockey. Does the curling team get paid year round, every year by their association? Does anyone?
  9. Could they have written an article, yes. But they are probably stretched pretty thin, yes also. State B, UND BB, MN HS BB.
  10. That makes one. At least we know it's not the entire fan base.
  11. How many girls play soccer and how many play hockey? Horrible comparison. USA being dominant at a worldwide sport like Soccer is significant. Hockey is not that, at all.
  12. Unionize to play in the Olympics? It's a privilege. The problem those ladies are going to have is they are making it about their income, while also throwing on "support" and terms like that. No, it's about you making more money because you don't have jobs but want to act like pro athletes. Women's pro hockey was DOA. Essentially, USA Hockey told them to go fly a kite.
  13. This is going to be awesome to watch tomorrow night! Pumped.
  14. USA Hockey just backed up what I have been saying all along: "USA Hockey's role is not to employ athletes and we will not do so". Amen.
  15. Pay them 2K a month for four years to train for a two week event- really? lmfao. The US Olympic/USA Hockey program would go broke if they had to become every athletes main source of income. Plus, who says these players are going to actually make the team after they paid them all that money? Laughable.
  16. They want to be paid to train for one event a year and one Olympics every four years. The Men have the NHL so they don't care about training for the Olympics or Worlds, they just show up in shape already. That is the difference. The women act like this is their full time job and it's really not, but since they have nothing else to do (other than the NWHL, which is in trouble) they seem to want to get paid for staying in shape. Playing for your national team once a year is not a full-time job, sorry Lammy's.
  17. Why though, aren't the skiiers all under the same umbrella? If she gets endorsements, fine. But shouldn't her USA 'salary' be the same as her teammates?
  18. Question: how much do other Olympic athletes get paid per month.....Womens skiing, figure skating, luge and so forth? How much do Men's hockey players get paid per month?
  19. Schloss is all in for the Women again on twitter. Tweeting and re-tweeting about it. What a crusader!
