Not sure what UND could do since there are laws covering what can and can't be disclosed. It's never good to recruit athletes who engage in this behavior though.
Also...I'll never understand why Title IX protects college students who commit sexual assault. If there's enough evidence, Otis should be charged and stand trial for this. 5 year bans from school are for cheating...not rape imo...
Universities want to keep their reported crime rates down.
Unfortunately this also creates a situation for many males in that if you are accused, guilty or not your best move is to just quietly move on and keep a low profile.
Duke, Virginia, and others may ring a bell.

It says in the article that there is no way Missouri St. could have known about the sexual assault charge. I call BS. If that was the case, why were they the only ones that made an offer? It's not like Otis had some nagging injury. He is still a great running back that would be a great pickup for many teams. And No other team offered? I say Missouri St coaches knew. They just didn't think this would come out since he transferred.
To be fair. I would imagine it took some creative skills to get him academically accepted to a school which is why I expected him to land at an NAIA school somewhere.

I remember UND hosting the final 8 teams that year. I watched all the first round games and I was blown away with how bad half the field was.. There were only 3 or 4 NCC level teams in the tournament.
I remember sitting having a couple cocktails at Dagwood's next to the ESPN crew the night before the game. I want to say it Was Charlie Steiner and Robin Roberts. Robin asked me if I thought UND had a chance against The Mighty Southern Indiana team tomorrow. As usual ESPN had done about 5 minutes of research and saw the S.I.U. had a 29 game winning streak and UND had a few losses so they must be the overwhelming favorite.
Since I had a few Dagwood's mugs full of Captain Morgan in me I told her that if that was going to be their narrative for the game tomorrow they are going to end up looking like they don't have a clue. I said SIU would be lucky to keep it within 20 and that they would be a 5th place team in the NCC and would be 7th in our region. UND was never in any danger of losing and the game was only close in the first half because Crouse only played 3-4 minutes in the first half with foul trouble. UND won by 16 but if not for a couple questionable calls on Crouse they easily win by 25.

Do yourself some research and look into the dealings of Mohammed bin Salman and the Saudi goverment. Nothing any sponser, equipment company, or golf course owner has ever done compare to what the Saudi government and Salman have done. Disagreeing with someones opinion and boycotting a business is one thing. But if getting paid hundreds of millions of dollars to a man and country that commits human rights violations and crimes they have done is inexcusable.
We went to China for the Olympics.

Nothing wrong with The Gentlemen's Sweep.
Gives the hometown fans a positive experience the last time they see their team play for the season.

and they took one away. I thought Makar getting an assist on Kadri's goal was a little generous.

Is the full hockey schedule for next year finished yet. UND site just had conference games

I have 6 left but definitely need a Rangers vs. Avalanche final to have any shot at all. Kadri going on a heater would be welcomed.

I wonder how well Jackson State would stack up with the rest of the FCS if they could be in the playoffs?
They can be in the playoffs.

McFeely says UND's rights were available in 2017 and that nobody besides Midco was interested. UND signed its extension with Midco in the summer of 2016, a year before rights were set to expire in summer 2017, so I don't understand how his statement could be accurate. Did he legitimately just make that up? I emailed the Forum to request a correction. Schlossman also seems to be implying that the only reason the tv rights are out for bid now is because of state law, and this contradicts McFeely's statement that relates to why UND is seeking bids now, vs 5 years ago (when competitive bids were not required by state law). Doubt anything comes of it, but their reporting on this and the Learfield contract are complete busch league at best. McFeely's Learfield article literally states that "the hockey and basketball arenas are owned by the Engelstad Family Foundation"...
It's McFeely, he makes up sh!t all the time.
he likes to think he is a rabble rouser or curmudgeon and tells himself he gets people talking but he is truly just a dumba$$.
On the political side it is like he is trying to get promoted from being a useful idiot to full on propogandist.

Yes, I like UND's culture - However Spicer is going to Duluth who has a great culture too - hard-nosed disciplined hockey from end to end and showing up strong at tournament time. We'd do well to borrow a little bit of their culture at times.
Can we let them keep the diving and flopping in Duluth?
Thank you now.

UND had a couple former players in the Kelly Cup Playoffs(ECHL) but their teams were eliminated in the first round.
Andrew Peski-Maine Mariners
Hayden Shaw-Trois-Rivieres Lions
Missed one. Didn't catch that Cam Johnson is back with the Everblades and led his team to a round 1 victory.
We have several players getting ready to kick off the Calder Cup Playoffs(AHL)
Collin Adams and Paul Ladue with the Binghamton islanders
Matt Kierstad with the Charlotte Checkers
Shane Gersich with the Hershey Bears
Chris Wilkie and JBD with the Belleville Senators
Aaron Dell with the Rochester Americans
Rhett Gardner and Jordan Kawaguchi with the Texas Stars....depending on how the Dallas Stars do, Adam Scheel could end up joining them as he is with Dallas as the 3rd goalie currently.
Connor Ford with the Henderson Silver Knights
Nick Jones, Austin Poganski, and Luke Johnson with the Manitoba Moose
Grant Mishmash, Cole Smith, and Rocco Grimaldi with the Milwaukee Admirals
Brad Malone with the Bakersfield Condors
Colton Poolman with the Stockton Heat.
Zane McIntyre could also end up joining the Iowa Wild if his 3rd goalie role with Minnesota comes to an end.

I just realized i listed 7 forwards. I can take the lowest total if you prefer or drop Tkachuk as he is who I had crossed off my scratch pad as my strategy was built around a Flames-Colorado and Florida-Rangers conference finals with Colorado and Florida moving on to the finals.

I’m not a Knowledgeable bball person but how does geno and new guy play in same team?
In Europe a lot of teams have Clubs under one organization, so they have a Pro team and then age based teams.

Or try fan-controlled coaching? I would pay cash money to watch that.
(What's the hockey equivalent to a fake punt anyway?)
Being down 4-0, scoring 3 goals in 7 minutes and having all the momentum and then pulling your goalie with 4 minutes left.

Dude. You have some issues. Guy had an outstanding college career and pretty solid pro career until some injuries, including concussions ended his career. Making unsubstantiated drug accusations is ridiculous.

Not saying this has anything to do with Otis's incident(s), but the reality is, if you are male and accused you will have to find another place to go to school.
