One of my favorite games I have attended and favorite period of hockey. I turned to my Gopher fan buddy when we scored and said UND is going to win this. Just felt the buzz. After the second goal he wanted to leave. I did feel bad for DeBus a little bit though because I think his wife and kids were at the game.

And by more porta pottys, you mean a minimum of 25-30 more.

I really thought UND could win yesterday.....but if you told before the game, the final score is going to be 49-24 I would said I would have said "sh!t, that ain't good"

Had two other guesses but the media guide listed them both as 3 time letterwinners(PS and TR) but I know those might not be accurate because I was pretty sure one of them for sure would have been a 4 year player as well.

I found a couple instances where we beat The Terd 7 times in a row(77-79) and 6 times in a row(85-87). What years did you play? I started school in the Fall of 84 and went to most home basketball games and lived in Smith Hall my freshmen year so got to know quite a few guys on the team. Loved the Hyslop and I was kind of a basketball junkie back then, probably played pick up ball 3 times a week my first couple years on average as well as raquetball and made good use of the pool and sauna. I rememeber when I was at UND the joke was that Dave Gunther could walk through Gamble Hall on Thursday afternoon and grab 7-8 guys and still beat Erv that weekend.
