Depends on the judge. If you get a judge who looks at facts and figures then this is over before it starts, if you get a judge who rules on emotion and thinks it is his/her job to make up things as they go along...well, then it will turn into a huge clusterf^ck

From what I have seen and heard about the NDSU football coach I would say anyone questioning his character and integrity would be a 180 degrees from what I have gathered and from what others who have met or had dealing with him would say as well. Quality guy, quality coach.

Women's Hockey is basically USA, Canada, and a bunch of Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards competing for the bronze.

Initially I think it would be huge. Especially in October and November. UND is playing at Ohio St. and the Buckeyes have a home football game......hmmm Same holds true for any of these schools. All of them would be fun College football game day experiences to take in while traveling to watch our hockey team take care of business.

Playoffs. All the NHL teams that are finished for the year send the guys down that they contractually can to help their AHL teams in the playoff push and the playoffs if they make it. The AHL regular season ends on April 15th. You will also see AHL teams send guys who were called up to replace the guys in the NHL get sent back down to their ECHL affiliates to help them do likewise. ECHL regular season has ended and their playoffs start tomorrow.

NDSU Women's Club Hockey team did just finish 2nd in the country in the women's division 2 championships.

Denver played well in that game and UND played lights out(probably best game of the year) and it was a pretty even battle. Barring any flukey bounces or referees involving themselves in the game, if Denver brings their A game it doesn't matter what anyone else does this year.

People like to use transitive results. Lowell lost to Notre Dame, Notre Dame got embarrassed by Denver, therefore......It happens in all sports for people who are fans but don't really understand how matchups and styles of play can make a team look like a world beater one night and look very average against a seemingly less strong team the next.

I talked to him on Friday outside the Embassy Suites as he was enjoying a cigar. Said Michigan won the one game out of 20 they would have beat UND that year....I know he is pretty good friends with and a huge fan of Dane Jackson....Had a couple beers with him in Milwaukee and my buddy was hanging with him and Bucci in Boston as he had tapped out early and taken a cab back to hotel.

I'm over it. Did UMD cross the line in the NCHC final. Yep. Has UND ever done the same? Yep. Have WCHA/NCHC refs ever failed to do their job before? Too many times to remember. I haven't really looked at UMD as a dirty program and only recently has the diving become an issue. I think they watched the physical play by both teams in the UND vs. Denver game and probably their captains put it in guys ears that "we" can't let them push us around like that and they came out a little over hyped to play physical and then Anderson and crew did nothing to reign it in and the game got out of control. I am pulling for a UMD vs. Denver final and not even sure who I would want to win that matchup. The UMD game in Minneapolis is still a little raw but as I said I am mostly over it and I don't really want Denver getting #8 until we have hung #9 in the rafters.

What about Gymnastics? ND has as many high schools that sponsor Gymnastics as Girl's Hockey. Should UND or NDSU have to offer Gymnastics so that our girls have something to stride for?

Hey. We moved several players up to the next level! Well 1 anyway and that was because he was at UND to play football but wasn't the most focused guy academically at the time. he washed out at UND, played JUCO hoops for a year and then played hoops at SDSU. Actually at one point our intramural team had 1 guy who played his freshmen year at VCSU, 1 guy who played his freshmen season at BSC, the guy referenced above who was runnerup for Minnesota Mr. Basketball and played FB at UND until he left school and ended up playing hoops at SDSU and 3 other guys who had offers at all the smaller ND schools(BSC, Lake Region, VCSU, DSU, etc.).We had a stretch where we took 3rd, 1st, and 2nd. The teams that beat us had players like Tracy Martin(FB, former NYJ) and other football players and UND basketball washouts. We always went undefeated in the Fraternity Division and usually won by lopsided margins. When we knew games were going to be ugly we would play hard man to man until the other team scored and then settle into a relaxed zone. Played the TKE house and jumped to a 37-0 lead before they scored and they held the ball at the end of the game when they figured out we were trying to beat them by 100(think we won by 96 or 97)
