I completely disagree. Losing to BSU at home 5-1 is embarassing. Dropping one to a good DU team on their ice after losing our No. 1 centerman for the game just five minutes in and then playing a good third period is just part of hockey. Sorry for the runon sentence lol.

No spin zone

Not sure where the pessimism comes in. IMO, despite being behind on Friday, UND never let off the gas. Saturday, they took care of biz with a team trying to play defense. Got it done. Injuries happen. Part of the game. I don't think there needs to be any spin. It was a good weekend. Sure we lost a good player, but we got two back (Caggs and OD). Great depth on the D corps. We'll be just fine. Much more concerned with Stetcher's development as opposed to if the team can bounce back without him.

It woulda been 7-1 per your prediction since Zane came in when it was 3-0. Just sayin lol.

We're 5-1-1 in NC play with 3 to go. Tomorrow and two with Niagara. We should be able to win those three games regardless of who's in net. Cam looked bad tonight, but like I said early, it could have been completely different if we pot a goal or two in the first in front of him. He was clearly nervous and fought the puck. Hak said it tonight after the win that this team is all about depth at every position. What happens if Zane goes down? We need Cam to have the confidence to lead this team if pressed into duty. Tomorrow, coupled with a couple other chances against Niagara and the U-18 team are perfect opportunities to give him a chance to see some ice. Every goalie has a shaky outing. Kid has played 21 minutes in his college career. One bad outing shouldn't define him. Give him a shot again tomorrow night. We've proven we can dig out of a hole on multiple occasions this season, but the leash will certainly be short. We get a goal or two in front of him and I bet we see a much better tendy.
