I haven't seen BC play yet this year, but look at the boxes and scorers, the seem to be a bit down. Anyone have insight on this?

I actually wrote about Mattson in my blog (sorry, shameless plug ) and I just don't think he should be in the lineup. His offensive abilities shined when had a group of more defensive defensemen around him and now that this d-corps is scoring and play making, he's getting lost in the shuffle. I go Poolman unless he continues to play like he did Friday. Before that, Tucker was better than Mattson. Ausmus/Stetcher are both playing on a different planet. Huge steps for these two guys.

Absolutely. Ferris last year was WAY better than the one that won that regional, IMO.

I remember looking across the ice at my buddy who was sitting in the opposite corner and we did the shoulder shrug. That's NEVER a response that either one of us have ever had to UND's season ending. Same exact reaction.

His return would certainly lessen the impact of N. Schmaltz going out, wouldn't it?

With the way some of our depth guys have played, I just don't see it happening. I'd much rather bring Olson or even Sanderson in, if need be.

Are we all on the same page as far as the year? 10-11 was our run to Four against Michigan. Did we have a lot of injuries that year? When I think of injuries, I think of the 11-12 team that was skating Senkbeil as a forward and beat Minny with the timeout in the WCHA semis. We were skating 11 forwards for a lot of the second half. OD, Rodwell, Rocco all missed a lot of time. No way does this team have the depth of 10-11, but I think it has better depth than the injury riddled 11-12 team.
