  1. Wins, good or bad, don't ever hurt the PWR anymore. A bad loss would kill us, but a 3-2 win over Niagara means the same as a 7-0.
  2. Absolutely spot on. No way he sits.
  3. Actually, I completely disagree. Sure, we need to play with tenacity, but it means absolutely nothing if we blow them out. A win is a win is a win. We won't blow teams out 7-0 in the tournament. Having our team win close games where they need to claw and scratch right until the last horn is what will benefit us most in the long run. Regardless, we need to win Friday night. Then... move on to Saturday. Good old cliches ring true. One game at a time.
  4. Don't get me wrong... I'd love to roll to two 7-0 victories, but the Ws look the same in the pairwise if they are 1-0. Get the sweep... all is well.
  5. Absolutely feel the same way. Saturday might have been his best in a UND sweater, IMO.
  6. Not good, but who really cares? Just gotta get the Ws.
  7. It was barely a punch! Almost didn't connect. Flat out and 100% dive
  8. Pattyn BARELY touched him. Huge, huge flop. Evidenced by him getting up immediately and grabbing for Patts' facemask. UMD got way dirty in the third. Hack team.
  9. Completely fair, but, Sanderson does nothing for me, personally. I like that he works hard, but so does Murphy and IMO, even though he hasn't hit the scoresheet, he brings more of an offensive game. I like his speed. Dude is just so snake bit. Either player just needs to step in and go to work.
  10. Exactly. I think we only had two in 11-12 with Knight and Kristo.
  11. Murphy works just as hard, IMO
  12. I completely agree with SiouxScore and I don't think Panz should be in. Too much speed for UMD. Shuffle Murph or Sanderson in there and flip em the next night unless someone steps up.
  13. Ugh. Queue Mr. Murphy. Again.
  14. Yeah that was a really dumb quote.
  15. Decided I'm going to drop the wife and baby off at the front door, park at my old house and hoof it a couple blocks. Thanks for all the suggestions, though.
  16. Yup. That is the schedule.
  17. That's the one I was talking about
  18. Went to one of my all-time favorite parties at ATO, Petey. Good guys there, too. I was a sophomore the year they tore it down.
  19. New No. 1... Just sayin
  20. That I don't know. We Delts were a little more blue collar
  21. Question for you guys... How much is parking? I would normally park at my old fraternity on campus and walk, but with the little one, that'd be a cold walk, methinks.
  22. Thanks for the tip. Great idea.
  23. That's lame. Oh well. Still gonna be a great atmosphere with Duluth in town.
  24. Can't wait until Friday! Headed up to GF from MPLS to catch the first game. The wife and I are bringing our little one to her first Sioux game! Hitting up Little Bangkok before, gonna take down a couple big beers and God willing our nearly-2-year old is a happy camper. Can't wait to see the boys in action. Go Sioux!
  25. Atmosphere has changed a bit as students don't seem as engaged as they once were. I think it's more of a commentary on kids these days more than anything to do with the REA or hockey in general. With all that being said, when it's a tight battle and the game is on the line, there's still no better place to watch a college hockey game.
