Just have to keep winning battles on the end boards and win races to the puck. CC is going to clog the middle again, you can bank on it. Another thing I'd like to see and Hak mentioned it in the post game, is getting to rebounds within 5 or 10 feet of the net. Marble was letting up some juicy, fat rebounds that we never got to. From the mid of the second to the middle of the third, we won the battles and pressed our game. We do that early, we pot a couple goals. I think we saw the best of CC tonight but we did enough to win it. We'll see if they can bring it again tomorrow. UND showed for chunks of that game that they are the better team. The senior leaders on this team don't ever let this team slow down. Mark and Parks with monster goals and I think Gaarder was our best skater tonight. He was everywhere. -

Zane was so good tonight. Kid is on a different level. Good, gritty, character win. Finish it tomorrow. -

Tough to blame Zane on that. Got caught in between a gross bounce and a tip. Tough to stop a knuckler like that. -
But nattys in 2011.... Right? Lol

No ma'am. Sitting comfortably at home. I hung up my bar rag years ago. You should do the same with that old, boring schtick. Don't you have W2s to check? I call you out for being dink. -

Everyone please remember this if we happen to get behind. When he starts jawing, we need to remind him it's not a big game. -

If they want to stick to this attendance talk, there's no reason for Minny to be in Fargo. Send them to South Bend and hope to draw some casual fans or UMN alumni groups in that region.

You're probably right, but Olson is a college athlete and has some of the best doctors, athletic trainers, nutritionists and equipment in the area readily available to him. Not sure of the ins and outs of mono, but I'm assuming Olson will be able to recuperate easier than most.

Ha!! Fantastic response. Back under the bridge, gf.

Still a few high enders out there. Have faith, boys and girls.

Not sure Murphy is coming out of the lineup soon. Had a good weekend against Niagara and it looks like Hak really wants him to get going. I think Pooly stays at F four sure, especially when Stecher gets back. That way we don't have to figure out two defensemen sitting. Panz and Mattson are the odd men out and both would likely be if Poolman moves back.

All in favor say "I"

I vote both. All hale Enerld Jokerr

Everything about those two sound exactly like a prototype Sioux. Hard working, skilled and instinctual. Love it. Keep working, Rhett and Jackson. We can't wait to see you in Green and White.
-
You think so? Couple that with a weekend sweep, UND may find themselves at No. 1 in the PWR, no? Would surely flip the MSU-M comparison, right?
-
Spot on. Just like this past weekend. Early and often. Don't lay off the gas.

I don't disagree. I'm just going off what I've seen of them (admittedly not much... I've watched parts of three games) and looking at some of their scores against other opponents they've played. I'm not saying their bad, whatsoever. You don't win that many games by being bad. I just don't know if they are No. 1 in the country good. I can honestly say, even though we've lost a few games, that I believe we are better than every opponent we've played up to this point in the season. Some may disagree, obviously. I think Miami, UNO and UMD are the best three teams we've played and when we played our best against those squads, we were unquestionably the better team. Again, just my opinion.

Honestly, still not convinced Mankato is that good. They split with UMD and Omaha and beat the WCHA. I'm really not trying to be a hater, but I've only seen them a couple times and wasn't very impressed. I think UMD could give Minny fits. Their front line speed will test the blue line pylons of Minnesota. I think that is a good litmus test for Minnesota. I hope they beat Mankato and get to play Duluth. Or, Mankato rolls Minny and we all realize that Minny is really average. I'm fine with either lol.

Kid has been pretty non-committal since he pulled his verbal. I don't see this much more than a cutesy story. A prospect like Boeser needs to and will make his own decision based on himself and no one else. Also, playing on the same line for that amount of time may come off as a bad thing to scouts. Maybe Boeser sees that he needs to get out and play with other players and show he can score just the same. No? Idk lol.

EXACTLY. They aren't good defensively. Until that changes, they can lose to any team in the Big 10.
