BC is clearly an outlier. I have no way to explain that. They got it done. Minny missed tournaments and hasn't had title since. Denver as well. So, IMO, parity makes it harder to win a title.

Union winning last season is the exact reason why this fire Hak stuff is nonsense. 15 years ago, teams like Yale and Union barely sniff the tournament. Parity is high and when every team has talent, it makes it that much harder to go all the way.

How is this vigilance? Throwing out a theoretical that isn't feasible. Name another college arena in the country that doesn't have a student section. It won't happen because the atmosphere in that arena comes from the students and they know that.

I like Caggiula-N Schmaltz-OD, Parks-MacMillian-Johnson. I think we HAVE to have N Schmaltz with Caggiula. Just so much skill there. Adding OD with the scoring touch (if he finds consistency) and size, we could have a very special trio. I think we are all getting a bit ahead of ourselves with Murphy. Kid didn't score a goal last season. Sure, he looked great last night, but he's gotta prove it on an every night basis to be able to play Top 6 minutes.

I think many realize the talent of Cags, but, outside of the UND fanbase, he's not highly regarded. Kid has all the tools to be an elite scorer. If he steps up to that 35-40 point level, we are going to be very, very dangerous this season. Can't wait.

I just have no understanding of why it would matter? Better competition makes you better. No better names.

And the Penn States and Ohio States are SOOO much better....
