Regardless of last year, Miami was picked to win the league this preseason. Omaha and UMD both improved and outperformed. All that said, Hak deserves it this year.

It's the old "getter-setter-hitter" mentality. Having arguably our three best "tough guys" on one line makes us vulnerable, to them? I tend to agree with you, but I see it their way, too. I like the Chyz, Schmaltz, LJ line idea. LJ and Chyz play with an edge, too.

I'm bored. Who steps up this weekend? Is it a senior leader or a young guy? Gordy is the easy call, but I'm gonna say Chyz has a big series. Haven't heard a lot from him lately.

Without digging into it, what was Simo on draws on Saturday? We need to win faceoffs. Simo has shown the ability to do so this season. Mark left a pretty huge hole in the dots that needs to be filled here in the playoffs.

I said it earlier to a friend of mine "day-to-day" = "playing" come playoff time. Colten is a hard-nosed guy, heart-type player and I'd be shocked to not see him on Friday.

Sim-O in to center line 3, St. Clair moves to wing, Olson out.

It'll be interesting to see what they do tonight. Do they rest Zane and shuffle lines? Not really Hak's style. I'll bet they keep a similar lineup as last night and try and build some continuity with Mark out. Small change with Sim-O in, move St. Clair to the wing, sit Olson.
