Congratulations to Huff for the second time. I've been hard on Huff for quite sometime but this year so far he has played so much less selfish and has really played more for the team. He is scoring more points with the same amount or less shots than in years past and rebounding his butt off. He is the one player that can take this team to the next level as he continues to be more of a team player and gets everyone else involved. He has matured as a player and I am very happy and excited to see what the future brings for him and this team.

Believe it or not we are tied for 22nd in the nation for FT% as a team, almost 75%. Who would have ever thought this after last year and an earlier game this year when we were like 14-30 and lost by 3. Great job guys lets just keep it up.

I agree with your analysis and to be honest I would take a road split this coming week. Schuler did not shoot well but lead us with 4 assists and no turnovers. Great team win.

Montana tonight at home against Montana State hit a 3 pointer with 3 seconds to go to send the game to overtime. Montana then went on to win in overtime. Weber also struggles at home for a win. This league is crazy on who beats who on any given night.

Based on how everyone is beating up on each other besides Weber and Montana 10-10 would be a good record for a 3 seed.

Great job and a big win tonight. We are playing more minutes each game as a team and less selfish one on one minutes and the results are showing.

Last in assists does say it all. It shows we don't pass the ball to the open man for a good shot and like you said we take a lot of desperation shots. However, last night I thought we improved on this a we had a good assist game. Coaches need to play this tape over and over and sink in to the players what the extra pass does do for us as a team.

First congrats to Huff for joining the 1000 pt club. I thought this was our best team effort for about 34 minutes. We had about 6 minutes after our 8-0 run to start the first half that we played selfish and one on one basketball but after that I thought it was by far our best team effort of the year. Everyone played under control and I really like our 4 guard offense. We almost had our starting four guards in double digits with Schuler getting 9 and the rest in double digits. I will take that every game. We drove and kicked it out more than any game this year and thats what got us going at the start of both halves. Great game and lets continue this type of play. Go Sioux

Lack of inside scoring is killing us. Too many bad shot also.

Eastern washington players are not missing anything in warmups. They are all shooting the 3. This 7'1" freshman from germany is huge. Go sioux

Could have beaten the record in 3 years, 4th year would have just been icing on the cake and basically put the record out of reach.

Doubt Brekke will be playing cause from what I hear he is not even practicing yet.

For the most part I liked what I saw tonight. We passed more and found the wide open man which led to 52% shooting from the field. I liked the starting lineup where 4 of the 5 starters where in double figures, we just need Brekke back to complete this lineup. Ben hard on Webb for his 3 point shooting and I was just as happy for him to shoot the way he did tonight and hope it continues the rest of the year. Good win and hopefully this shows these players that if you hit the open man and not force shots good things happen.

We r starting 1 on 1 again and losing it. Everytime huff drives at least 2 wings r wide open.

Wilmers inability to catch a pass is killing us. With brekke we would be up so much.

So far today we r moving and passing the ball better. See what happens this last 20 minutes.

I bashed webb last game for his 3 pt shots but he is hot today. Next slump I bash him again to get him shooting like this. Keep feeding him today he is hot.

Your comment that when he drives he almost every time passes back to the perimeter. This is true cause if the lane is not open he recognizes this and doesn't force the play and passes out to reset the offense, very smart move. Other players force the drive when it is not there and then they are among the trees with no options but to force it up or turn it over. I like re-setting the offense if the play is not open. Bottom line we need some sort of inside game and more team work. We should match up very well against Montana State as their top 4 scorers are guards and 3 are 6'2" and shorter so they play mostly 4 guards and not a major threat on the inside.

All I am saying and have said is these players do not know what they should be shooting and not shooting. Webb had a nice overall game with his assists and steals and I know you are a big Webb fan as I am a Schuler fan but if you are shooting 16% from 3 for the year I'd say you should not be taking many 3's. This goes for Allard as well, I cringe everytime Allard shoots a 3 since he is about a career 20% shooter. I like Webb but his outside shot is just not there at this point. As far as your comments on Schuler I would take an entire team like him cause he understands the team concept and his only fault is that he is too unselfish. Yes, he made a couple of bad passes last night which is very unusual for him. He should definately shoot more but if you watch the games he hardly gets a pass when he is open and after watching him wave his arms when he was open last night and still did not receive the pass I think he is invisible out there to the other guards, they always drive away from him and look for other players. He should get a minimum of 10 shots a game but it's not his fault he needs the ball to shoot. I agree, we are definatley hurting with Brekke's absence cause there is very little threat on the inside. We just can't guard the other teams bigs and when Montana went to the zone they pushed the zone so far out and was not concerned with Wilmer, Archer or Allard. These individuals need to win the next 3 games at home or they are in such a deep hole I don't see the tournament in sight.

Webb was 0-5 from three and he continues to shoot 3's and now is about 12% for the year. Why can't our players understand what is a good shot for them and only take those shots. Its a shame but it continues game after game. Hard one to watch in the 2nd half and it seems when we get behind thats when all the one on one stuff starts with no team effort on the offensive side and its more and more obvious we need Brekke back for our ineffective post players.

I believe we match up very will with this team. It appears they play mostly a 4 guard set and we are at our best with Anderson, Webb, Huff and Schuler on the floor. If we play as a team and share the ball tonight I believe we will be in a position to win this game and honestly win this one. If we don't play as a team then we get beat by 15+. Hopefully a big crowd tonight showing a lot of support for the men, this is a big game. Go sioux.

It's been over 4 weeks now. Just seems like a long time to be out for a concussion. Hope he returns soon and this does not linger on for several more weeks. Go Sioux

Thank you for saying this is not a TEAM after watching us for 1 game. Been saying this for years that we have way too many selfish players that are only concerned about getting their points. This junior class is so talented but they are almost midway thru their junior years and yet the same players are doing the same things that they were doing as freshman. Webb I believe had 0 assists and he is our point guard, only 2.8 assist/game and 3.8 turnovers. Huff shot the ball almost every time he touched it so he could get his points and forced many many bad shots and even got bailed out several times by the officials. Allard continues to shoot 3's that he cant make and now Wilmer is shooting 18 footers. What is going on with these guys. Every game Webb, Huff and Anderson play selfish basketball we get our butts handed to us. We are much better than this but once again its on the coaches and they are not doing anything so far after 2 1/2 years. I'm thinking we need Hooker at point right now.
