Played zone defense on only 2 possessions and I think that was it. We could not match up with them down low and Jones stated in his pre game speech that we were going to take the inside game away and force them to make the outside shots. This did not happen at all and they killed us down low.

Tough night for our top 2 scorers. Schuler played a nice game and was great to see minutes out of Brekke. We need to get the next one and get back to .500. Thought we should have zoned them the whole night.

Huff is having one of the games. We can play with these guys on a given night if Huff and Anderson have their A game.

Schuler very aggressive going to the basket with 6 points and Antwi with 5 points. If Huff gets going this could be a W. Nice to see Brekke back and what he can do once he gets his legs back. Looks like Brekke can make only about 2 trips up and down the court and he is gassed.

Does Wilmer understand if you are covered kick it out. NO he does not understand nor how to set a screen.

Possibly plays some on Saturday.

Great article but I would have to think all conference teams are based solely on conference games. With that being said Huff at this point should definately be 1st team all conference and at the worst 2nd team. If he continues he may garner a few votes for POY but that would also depend on how UND does the rest of the year.

From what I have heard Brekke may be playing this Saturday, so the talk of medical red-shirt will be over. Doubt if he's in very good shape to give very many minutes but whatever he can give will be a help down low.

This team is all about playing one on one when they are playing on the road. Anderson gets a nice steal and then tries a circus shot against a big when he should have pulled it out and set the offense.

4 guys were just guarding huff and no pass. This is so bad.

And now Wilmer shoots a 16' fade away. Wasted possessions. Wilmer never makes a jump shot. These guys are not missing for Northern Arizona and we are not guarding anybody close. 26-12 Northern Arizona.

Allard has touched the ball twice and turned it over and shot an air ball from 3. He should be benched every time he attempts a 3 cause he cant make one. Slow start for the Sioux.

Every bad run by us on the road or at home always begins with selfish play. The last 3 games prior to this one I thought we moved the ball around well and found the open man and did not force or take very many bad shots. This game was just the opposite and thus a narrow loss that 2-3 possessions could have made the difference but some players just dont get it and play for themselves and their own points. Unfortunately for the coaches we dont have a bench to sit the players that are doing this. I knew it was going to be bad when Wilmer took the first shot from 18' and missed it. I dont recall him making a jump shot from15-18' all year and yet he still takes them. Our current post players are killing us so bad down low in lack of scoring and when have they ever boxed out. Anderson took some horrible forced shots and in the begginning of the second half Huff did likewise but at least Huff made a nice surge on some wide open three's. Next game check out how many guys are wide open on the wings when Huff and other guards penetrate and in games like this the extra pass is never make. MAKE THE EXTRA PASS PLEASE. No doubt we need this win on Saturday but if the players don't wake up and trust their teamates then it will be the same.

Schuler gets his arm ripped off on a 3 and no call and then gets a technical cause the officials cant see a foul right in front of them.

Its simple guys. When they play together they are good and then they do this crap and a few try to shoot with 3 guys on them with others wide open. Huff is kinda out of control tonight.
