He can get that toe drag wrist shot off really quick, like Kristo-esque in his senior year. I saw him do it a few times in World Juniors. The toe drag he made around the DU player that lead to the 3rd goal Friday night was unreal, I had to watch the replay at least 10 times to believe it.

I'm literally getting mine setup for the 1st time on Monday. For a Tivo(better, more intuitive version of DVR) in our living room and 2 "Tivo Minis" in 2 other rooms plus the preferred channel package and sports variety my monthly bill comes to $118.

I will say after just moving to GF from Minneapolis, Midco blows Comcast out of the water in technology as well as price.

If UMN is there I'd expect maybe 25% UMN fans, 70% UND, 5% other. If UMN isn't there, I'd probably say 90-95% UND fans.

Isn't Hakstol's record when leading going into the 3rd period impeccable? Can't remember the stat but I seem to recall his teams being very good at finishing games. Also, let's not pretend like our defense played terrible. Zane let in a goal from the half-wall and one from below the goal line. I thought our defense played very well in the 3rd period. Zane let in 2 bad goals by his standards and we had a good goal waved off. Realistically this game should have been a 5-2 or 5-3 win at worst. All of the above things combined vs. a good top 10 Denver team will result in giving up a 2 goal lead. I don't think our issue was going into a "defensive shell".

We played well enough to sweep this weekend but that BS no goal call really screwed us over. 4-2 game changes everything. The play is really promising from the team though.

I do miss this part of college hockey too. I remember as a kid either Mike Commodore or Lee Goren got into a fight behind the net I was sitting at in the Old Ralph. When all was said and done, their was blood splattered all over the glass. As a kid, I thought this was the coolest thing ever.
