  1. ...I accept your apology
  2. I called Tambellini bush league, not anyone else... So not sure what you're talking about?
  3. Not much lol it's pretty simple. Can be done inside a day if the player is already accepted to UND.
  4. Hah! This made me chuckle
  5. Probably thinking that's what happens when you stick it out and play for a great college hockey program... tbh we were and are a stronger team without him. There was no love lost from the fans or the players when he bolted.
  6. Pretty sure JT Miller's move was seen as pretty bush league within the college hockey circles... I think Schmaltz decides before then. I honestly think he's just making sure he makes the right decision which is fine IMO. It is only May 5th.
  7. Huh I didn't know South Americans were known for their pumpkins...
  8. All I know is that he was playing golf at King's Walk with Brock Boeser recently while Boeser had an interview with the Vancouver Sun Also, Boeser was going for the green on hole 3 in two shots. I wouldn't expect anything less.
  9. I honestly am just happy to be getting 2 years out of him after winning a national championship and scoring 60 points in his freshman season. He could be ready for the show next season. I'm looking forward to the "NHL player playing in the NCAA" comments from Motzko and coaches around the country next year.
  10. If you were worried about Boeser still jumping to pros, this article seems to put that to rest: http://vancouversun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/vancouver-canucks/iain-macintyre-canucks-top-prospect-boeser-elevates-his-game-on-same-page-with-team-about-his-future
  11. Gotcha No kidding, thought that was crazy he went that far but it was worth it! You think he drove or flew?
  12. Didn't know where else to put it, please forgive me and I'll take my 23 lashes.
  13. Boeser with a pretty cool gesture in taking this girl to prom. Especially, going out of his way to find the mom after the girl's twitter was deleted. I love the quote from her son after asking him who Boeser is: 'Are you serious? He's one of the best hockey players in the country. That's amazing'. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/4025571-und-hockey-brock-boeser-take-grand-forks-student-down-syndrome-prom
  14. How many afternoon games has Wisconsin played vs night games? That would be more interesting to me to know instead of just comparing non Friday and Saturday games.
  15. Apologies, I was using guy in an asexual sense. My wife knows more about UND hockey than the majority of fans at The Ralph each night.
  16. I always picture them to look like the diehard fans that are really into the game being played and have a strong handle on the current state of the team/program when they talk. I'm sure there are exceptions but this is what I usually think.
  17. I always think of that at UND games (home & away). I generally think to myself who looks like a ss.com guy and which user they might be.
  18. Yup, completely agree with everything you and Schlossman have already stated. Why leave a great conference and pay $1.5MM to do so?
  19. I had someone in the section above me yell "Go Hawks" during 5-10 games at The Ralph. Honestly, I usually looked at them in shock because I wasn't sure if it was real or they were mocking the name. Maybe people were mistaking this for dirty looks? I'm probably not too concerned with "dirty looks" from people. If they become vocal is when I'll tell them to shut up because we are both cheering for the same team.
  20. You just made up a situation that you "guaranteed" will happen and then got mad about the people you "guaranteed" will do it. And anyone who does not take your GUARANTEE at face value is delusional? Can we at least wait until it actually happens to complain? I'm sure your guarantee is rock solid and all but I'd rather not jump to conclusions. If this makes me delusional, I suppose I'll just have to cope with it.
  21. Huh... I have yet to see any of that after attending 25+ games home or away last season. Not saying it's not true just few and far between I think. In Duluth, there were some fans(heavily intoxicated) flapping their arms and making "Kaw" sounds. I thought it was hilarious.
  22. Because there will be fistfights in the stands between the Hawks and Sioux fans... just wait
  23. Nope, never watched it So your point is no game is a guaranteed win and sometimes the best team doesn't? I believe everyone knows that but you can't blame people for being excited about having the road to Chicago go through Fargo. Two years ago I remember having the players say the fans really put the team over the top and gave them a huge advantage in Fargo. I was there and it was about as hostile a place you could possibly play for an opposing team. Obviously anything can happen but I can't blame people for getting excited about the variables working in our favor for a title repeat.
  24. I know this is counting my oxes before they're hatched(or something like that) but my motto for next season is just to make the tourney. A regional in Fargo in front of a home crowd and a Frozen Four in Chicago which is very drive-able for Grand Forks and Mpls fans gives us a great setup next year. And if Schmaltz comes back... might as well start printing the championship t-shirts
  25. Didn't the majority of people think UND would come out in black jerseys since Quinnipiac was in their yellow?
