I guess my issue with coaching staff is not on the parking garage fiasco, although that is a shiny example. Like you I am upbeat on the incoming class, just as I have been with pretty much all incoming classes. My concern is what is happening after they get to campus, skills progression, and maturity. Something is amiss and I don't mind if a few claim the emperor has no clothes. After all isn't the onus of program success squarely on his shoulders? I don't recall that I called to Fire Hak, definitely not in earnest. More likely to poke your bar buddy, gfhockey a bit... lol.

I am far from a hockey guru but do wonder if Berry is out of his league for lack of Mafia Man wordage.... not all great guys make great coaches, not all great assistant coaches make great head coaches. Maybe Berry will need to ferment a bit like Sandy....

Many have said that we have great defense, does that jive with the amount of leads we have given up this year? Seems to me there is a laundry list of issues.... hope Stoney is right and we hoist #9 before the Ralph looks like mariucci...

Some nights the effort is outstanding, the next night they crap themselves. Is that not on the coaches? watching "thru these doors" and hearing Jackson telling Gardner that he was playing fast and doing the right things had me scratching my head, is he a fast player, cause he looks slow and behind a lot.... Something mental is wrong behind the scenes, lots of speculation, someone is likely right, hope they can figure it out. I think 22 is frustrated and letting it get the better of him, can Hak guest coach for the playoffs. I have to think Hak is near the program, beers with berry nightly at very least. Didn't Kober volunteer coach for a while... Would Hak be effective in a non head coach role? Can Arch and Eades just come to practice twice a week and install some desire? Sad that this is last home game, maybe last televised game (I assume western michigan will be online pay only)... thinking beer mid-afternoon is not a good look for me...

that last penalty looked pretty weak to me, and they missed and obvious trip / interference right beside the net about a minute before, looks like refs want to determine winner...
