I in no way meant to imply Gage should not be or would not be the captain. He certainly has proved his worth as the captain. I was just asking the more general question, does a junior captain always become captain as a senior. The way I understand it is the team votes on captains, although my son's team have always had the captain assigned by the coach.

The more I know about hockey, the less I like announcers. If any play has a good shift, they throw a bunch of adjectives and cliques that may or may not hit the mark, definitely not doing homework... the following play both with your eyes and listening makes you want to hit the mute button. Hopefully they can clone Doc Emeric, would put hockey on another level... (dang it , another stupid clique)

Can someone clarify, in an earlier post someone mentioned that Coach Berry did not challenge the no goal call and speculated he did not want to risk losing his timeout. I realize the NHL had instated the coaches challenge that ties it to a timeout but I did not realize it had been adopted by college hockey. I thought the coaches just chatted with ref (if ref cares too).
