Bulldogs finally get off the schnide with a 7-4 win over Union. Tyler Brosz netted a hat trick in the win. Dogs started backup goalie Anderson, but he was pulled after the third goal. Hopefully the Dogs will get it back together with this win. It was starting to feel like the season was getting away from us for a bit there. The guys really need 4 points against Minnesota State next weekend to get back on track. (Way to go RPI!!!)

I guess you attract a different crowd when your games start at midnight!

Eddie has been one of my favorite NHL players! When he and Hull won the cup with the Stars it was a great moment!! Eddie: I choose you!

Anyone else find it hilarious that SCSU got 2 first place votes. UMD was the first decent team they had played all year.

Because Cornell beat powerhouses Yale and Princeton.......while Harvard tied perennial contenders Dartmouth.... .....oh wait........it's because they're from the East.

Dogs drop 5 spots after sweep by SC. Can't see them climbing next weekend...even with a decisive sweep of BSU.

I thought the refs would want to watch tapes of their games anyway.

UMD had a terrible series this weekend. Sorry we could do nothing to "soften up" the Huskies.

Bulldogs lose to SCSU 3-2. I was worried about this series...and I geuss I had good reason to be.

SCSU's record appears a bit.....uh....deceiving. 5-0-1. They've beatn Wisco twice, beat and tied Tech, and beat Princeton (once in OT)...all were one or two goal games and all were played AT HOME. Still, it will be a tough test for the Dogs. It will be interesting to see how they respond.

With the Goaltending the way it is, I would say high scoring. I can't see the Gophers taking either game. Maybe a tie in there somewhere.

You have to remember that I'm a Bulldogs fan. It's been a few years since we could be "poll watchers". That's the reason that polls exist. They're conversation starters. The earlier we can climb high, the better for our PWR considerations.
