Threads like this are unnecessary... it is blatantly obvious that Hak is the greatest coach of all time. He or his coaching style should never be questioned. Anyone who thinks otherwise should come drink some kool-aid.

Do the boys have to shoulder some blame for last night and others? Absolutely... They played an extremely sloppy and at times lazy games. But ultimately it comes down to the coach.... you can't fire players. Hak picked these kids and it's his job to get them motivated and ready to play. In big games. Hell, every night in my opinion. Hak has proven that in big games he has an unwillingness or scarier yet, an inability to make mid-game changes. And the fact that some of the guys just go through the motions on huge game nights really pi$$es me off... it should do the same to Hak.

Most people wouldn't consider a team with fifteen draft picks on it eligible for a "rebuilding" year... I thought we just reload? Wonder how many times a team with this many draft picks have missed the tourney.

Another big game, another big loss. No fault of Hak though of course.

Go on and tell us how many championships the goofs have won in the last ten years... we'll be waiting.

Honestly, no one here cares about your opinion. You realize that but still try to get a rise out of the Sioux fans that post here. But please tell us again about how you are not just another in a long line of goofer trolls on SS.com.

Don't think the pairwise matters much anymore... this team will most likely have to win the tourney to get an auto. What a disappointment the NCHC has been in it's first season.

Well, we will have to agree to disagree about the effort part. About 20 missed nets cost them too... not only does putting it on net give you a scoring chance it creates rebounds, which this team relies on to win games.

Do you really feel they played as hard in the first as they did in the second? No way... Not that they played all that bad in the first but we can see what this team can do when it wants to... Same effort in the first as the rest of the game and the Sioux would have punched their ticket for next weekend.

Too bad this team can't put together all out effort for the entire 60 minutes... haven't all year and I'm not confident they will tomorrow. Hope I'm wrong.
