If you would have told me before the series that would be the case I would have been happy but the Wild could have easily won todays game and gone back home up 2-0. If the Wild keep playing like they have these first 2 games and maybe finish chances a little better I would expect this one to head back to St. Louis with the Blues facing elimination in game 5.

Adrian Peterson wants trade to Cowboys

Agreed, If they don't get at least a 1st or a couple 2nds I think they will just keep him and tell him if he wants to play in the NFL the only way for that to happen is in Minnesota. -
Ott is a real garbage player.
-
Really liked Nelson's game he has loads of potential going forward and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he ends up being a 1st round pick. Losing this battle is a lot easier to take after winning the battles for Boeser and Mismash.

Completely agree no matter how many defensemen we get back next year Poolman will be a regular on the back end.
-
Kelly Friesen @KellyFriesen Mar 27 Many reporting Caleb Jones, brother of Preds defender Seth Jones, will join the Portland Winterhawks next season. #WHL Jones is very likely WHL bound. I believe Luke Jaycox has visited both UND and Duluth.

Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF 29m29 minutes ago Zane McIntyre says his decision boils down to UND and Boston Bruins. Doesn't intend to go free agent route http://bit.ly/1OtHVTe -
I agree, both Nick and Jordan were two of the better players on the ice Thursday night and left it all out there. There may have been a couple games where different guys didn't show up during the season for whatever reason. IMO it is absolute garbage that people are calling out Nick and Jordan for their effort there wasn't a guy on the ice in most games this year who didn't give max effort.

I believe Marks is retiring as well so if Yon goes back which I think he will it will be interesting to see how he performs under a new coach. I think the biggest thing with Yon is he could come in this year and compete for time but could very likely end up being a scratch a decent amount of the time or he could go back to Fargo and play a top 6 role and get a good amount of powerplay time. -

Agreed I've thought he is the most likely to leave for a long time. -

A little more on LaDue From LA Kings Insider Jon Rosen -I’m getting the sense that defenseman Paul LaDue is most likely headed back to the University of North Dakota for his junior season, and the Kings are fine with that. There was the possibility that the 22-year-old LaDue, like Brodzinski, could sign with the club and play professionally in 2015-16, but he’s very happy at North Dakota, and Los Angeles is very comfortable with the development and coaching staff in place in Grand Forks. In 41 games this season, the 2012 sixth round draft pick totaled five goals and 22 points http://lakingsinsider.com/2015/04/10/report-weal-on-his-way-up-to-kings-more-prospect-notes/ -

I completely disagree I would love to have a d corps of Ausmus-Stecher, Thompson-J.Schmaltz, and Poolman-LaDue every game next season. -

Looking back at when guys announced their decisions last year and for most it was about 4 days after the Frozen Four so hopefully we will know who is coming back and who is signing sometime this week. -
The NCAA Championship Game Dream Match-Up: BU vs. PC
SiouxScore replied to MafiaMan's topic in Men's Hockey
Just think how different it all could have been if Providence would have been forced to travel to Fargo and play UND in the 1st round like they were supposed to instead of the committee keeping them home for attendance purposes. -
Exactly.
-
Correct he is a solid player some Gopher fans might have expected more scoring from him but he hasn't been bad for them.
-
Cammarata did a lot of floating around the neutral zone getting hit for breakaway passes in the USHL and basically only focused on offense that was a big part of his high point totals in the USHL you can't get away with that in the college game.
-
I would expect his brother Matt to sign there after worlds are over as well.
-
My guess is Jephte Matilus. I just noticed he isn't on the Spring roster was an LB until last Fall when he moved to FB to try to get more playing time but ended up 3rd on the depth chart there playing some on special teams.
-
That's probably the right play by Schmaltz in that situation we had 2 guys on the puck you hope they win the battle and get the puck back to Schmaltz for a shot to the net. Its not like he was backing out of the zone and just trying to prevent an empty net goal he was in a position to receive a pass and get the shot on net but unfortunately our 2 guys lost the board battle.
-
Yeah that's it its not like it could have actually happened. Your genius adjustment would have probably been to tell the team to score more goals.
-
It was Michigan playing their best game of the season and Hunwick standing on his head with some help from the iron against UND and them playing an average game against Duluth.
-
You mean the Michigan game that we completely dominated and controlled what would have been the coaching adjustment you would have made in that game?
-
Comparing NDSU football and UND hockey doesn't make a whole lot of sense either NDSU football doesn't play at the top NCAA level of their sport while UND hockey does.
-
It also is a lot easier to land high end recruits when you are making the Frozen Four very often and getting to the NCAA tournament every year I would have thought a guy who "invests" so much into the program would realize that too.
