There is no chant that the crowd can perform in unison. The fan base has multiple identities and is divided. One of the only chants the student section participates in is a half assed "Sioux forever" for a few seconds after a penalty kill, or the "who's he, he sucks !@#$" during intros. How do you fix it? Fighting Hawks name and logo need to be bought into 100% by the hockey program/REA.

This was an incredibly awful jersey. Why wouldn't UND put their current name and or logo on their jersey?

Title game had only 321,000 viewers. Not good.

PP was 8th of 8 teams in NCHC...and 52nd out of 60 in the nation!!! OUCH!!!!

Feel so bad for the Finnish team. They are the true Gold medalists.

This post is gold, and exactly what I have been saying lately. A lot of small minded people with big mouths! Happy for Kennedy, and I thank him for what he has done at UND. Like @geaux_sioux wrote earlier, and I paraphrase very crudely: "dude got amazing amount of !@#$ done, but came off as an ass sometimes to people in ND".

Like people said, parity rules now. Just super surprised by the result after watching SCSU win so many games this season. I truly thought they were going to hang 1st banner.

History/program status shouldn't factor in. Gophers also had 10,000 plus cheering loudly against them at the Ralph. SCSU was #1 pairwise and pretty much #1 all year...30-5-3. AIC was 31st in pairwise...first tourney appearance, 23-16-1. Hats off to AIC!!!

I think that is a bigger choke job/upset than MN vs. Holy Cross.

Turned on nchc to check score during basketball break. Very impressed with the crowd! Very little green, lots of red and maroon and yellow. NCHC did just fine without UND at this tournament.
