This team was punched in the mouth repeatedly last night. They surrender the early goal tonight, but responded in a big way. Major respect...now let's see how they come out on Fridays in the months ahead!

SCSU broadcast in general is just above amateur level. Jim Rich and Pat M. are very serviceable veterans to help raise the broadcast up, while still allowing the college kids to get experience on the broadcast...think UND Studio One days. However, Rich's lack of prep on the opposing team is noticeable, and Pat M's grunts and oh's and ah's and other comments in SCSU's favor are like the drunk guy behind you in the stands who won't shut up. He could be more of a pro, but not sure he has it in him. UND is lucky to have the Midco professional level team.

Congrats to Fenton. I'm amazed that the NCHC kept him around this long.

Much better performance tonight. Gophers sure made it interesting at the end though!

Props to the Gophers. They came ready to play and sustained that level of play for three periods. UND was not ready and chased the game.

Exactly. This is REALITY. Some staffs/institutions will navigate this more effectively than others. I hope my favorite team, the University of North Dakota, is one of them.

It's pretty striking to see the difference in professionalism, talent, and neutrality in this Midco crew vs Alex and the UND crew.

Spend thousands to watch a college team made of 18 to 24 year olds play a niche sport. Again, that is your prerogative. Zero judgement, but hard to understand for some folks like me. I hope they enjoy Nashville tonight though!

UND isn't great right now. They may come together at the end of the season. This is a regular season, non conference game. In no galaxy would I spend money to attend this. 17,000 disagree with me, and that is just fine.

US is 7 to 10 days away from where Italy is. Have heard some accounts from healthcare team members there that are very upsetting.

If you don't have to go out right now, don't. If you need life necessities, go get them. Sports and entertainment are on hold right now. This isn't about living in a bubble. This is a basic public health strategy that someone who works in healthcare should understand. As geauxsioux mentioned above, we are fortunate to live in a less densely populated area. I'd hate to live in a larger city when the numbers get up there.
