  1. Would St. Cloud take offense to first half of that?
  2. No. The inferiority complex won't allow it. Haven't figured that out yet?
  3. Seems to be a common theme....
  4. I assumed so. That mean he won't be playing at all this year? Is he working on getting them back up so he can join the team when eligible?
  5. Robertson is not listed on the roster, but is listed under "WR Newcomers" and as a RFr in the class breakdown. Under Newcomers, it lists his number as 6, which is the same as Bartels. If Robertson is on the team and plays, not sure how those two could have the same number.
  6. That was just the cherry on top. There was a fair amount of build-up before and after that.
  7. The point was that the Dome has not always been full, despite what some short-memoried FU fans would like to claim. I guess I don't agree on football attendance continuing to grow if the team had been stuck in medicority or at least I don't think it would have grown anywhere close to rate it did. Tailgating and the games have become an event because the team has been very successful and the demand is very much a byproduct of that. But I do agree with your point that because of people investing both time and money into the program (tailgating, season tickets, etc) that attendance won't drop as much when NDSU isn't at a peak.
  8. UND doesn't fill their building because of elitist attitudes. NDSU didn't fill their's because it's a large building. Sound logic. Or was it at the time NDSU's fan base wasn't as big because they weren't winning as much so people didn't bother showing up? Siouxperfan7 hit the nail on the head.
  9. Why couldn't NDSU fill up the Fargodome until the last few years?

    Ticket sells

Why don't you e-mail someone in the athletic department or ticket sales and ask?
  11. I believe he was taking online classes back home this summer. I would assume that means he plans on coming back. Hopefully he does and is ready to go.
  12. He was on the Spring Football Prospectus and I am pretty sure I saw him play in the spring game. Not sure on much else though.
  13. I know you're young, but wow do you have a short memory. UND has had a waiting list for hockey tickets for years, when the FU barn wasn't even close to full. And 12K to a playoff game just 3 years ago...
  14. Behind the baskets is where most colleges place their student section. As for the bleachers, until they put permanent seating in (not any time soon), those bleachers are about as good as it will get. And until students start showing in force up for more than 1 game every other year, then it may be time to talk about some changes. Hopefully with the potential this team has, student support will improve.
  15. Was it 57 tickets or 57 orders?
  16. OSU suspends starting running back 3 games despite assault charges being dropped Meyer says it was for "conduct not representative" of Ohio State.
  17. If that is the case, maybe NDSU should start putting ads for the SHAC in the "Courts" section of the Forum. They might finally get the donations to finish it while people are looking up what their favorite player has been up to.
  18. I'm sure you'll be the first to report it with the interest and knowledge you have in UND athletics.
  19. We'll see how true that is depending on who suits up against KSU the first game of the year. Or maybe offseason transgressions don't count. Or maybe they don't count if they aren't reported in the Forum. Time will tell...
  20. The game by game shows a record of 4-7. The expected overall record based on a combination of all the percentages is 6-5 record (5.88 wins and 5.12 losses). Obviously with no season data yet, they don't mean a lot but still something to help pass the offseason.
  21. You give the AD at DU much more credit than I do. Plus, I can see DU just moving out of the Summit (obviously not an issue to them) rather than trying to pull off the sort of scenario you are laying out there. But who knows....
  22. He played with that injury for a large portion of the year. If he is healthy, watch out.
  23. Re-read what I wrote. It has nothing to do with how NDSU handled it. And to my knowledge, Beck still has an charge against him for resisting, so not sure how that falls into the category of not being in any legal trouble.
  24. But how many fans actually care? Not pretend to care becuase it seems right or express fake outrage when it is a player on a rival team, but actually care? Most are more concerned about being entertained and would prefer to let it lurk in the shadows. Like all of the sudden it was a huge surprise to find out McGwire and Sosa weren't 100% clean? Most people choose to turn a blind eye because the home run chase was high quality entertainment. You are dead on with the winning part. Owner's need to field a winner to make money. GM's and coaches will take chances because if they don't win, they lose their jobs. No one is going to give them much more than a pat on the back with their pink slip if they lose a ton of games and while trying to claim the moral high-ground on having clean players. None of them will admit to knowing anything shady their players are doing if they are caught (or not caught) but they aren't blind either.
  25. Not quite sure what a last place conference school is, but I'll assume you are talking about USD or Idaho State?
