Pat Haden was on Dan Patrick this AM. His explanation for Kiffin's termination was simple and fair. The minute he wasnt 100% behind his coach, he felt it was unfair to Kiffin, the players, the university and the fans to keep Kiffin in his employ. This is the 3rd year I've sat in the front row. His presence on game day is sorely missed. And not because he always brought my kids glasses of powerade.

I watched Faison tell the equipment manager to tell 4 players to stop effing around on the bench. It was immediately after the last MSU score to go up 42-7.

My views on Mussman not withstanding........there is no reason to think that UND will willingly eat a quarter of a million dollars to remove this football coach (not to mention staff with contracts) during or immediately after this season.

There is no inkling that this would happen but IMO the University of St Thomas would be an outstanding DI hockey school. They have great geography, great academics, an extremely loyal and well-heeled alumni base and they have a TON of money.

IMO, if the ACC deteriorates further, Notre Dame ends up in the new "Catholic 7" conference and maintains football independence.

An on-air apology would have been enough. Not sure if Jones supports the suspension but it makes him look soft and think-skinned. What the suspension does do is remind a bunch of folks that don't normally do not pay attention to UND hoops (or did in the past) that UND did piss away a home game that was extremely important.

Bentson Bunker is a great facility for VB. I wouldn't mind seeing hyslop retrofitted to become a dedicated VB facility.
