Story about tight timeline for approvals and construction, etc for new turf.
Based on quotes, it sounds like UND will not commit to playing football in the Alerus beyond the life of the new turf.
Correct, IIRC the BigSky ByLaws give them the right to substitute any NCAA rule(s) for their own rule(s) when the NCAA rule is determined to be more restrictive. The ability to host playoffs fits under this scenario.
Herald story on UND contribution to turf cost seems to imply that turf naming rights may be an option. I would be very surprised if Alerus' deal allowed for that.
Looks like Indiana State has their FBS QB transfer: http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2012/01/wmu_quarterback_mike_perish_tr.html
Doubt Pride is landing there now.
I swear to all is holy, Say Anything must assume one of two things about all of its readers.
1) They only read headlines; or
2) They are complete dolts.
As I posted earlier, Sure they could, If they were so inclined, they could use Article III Section 6 as cover. Not even much of a stretch for the type of folks that would be doing the voting.

Nice field design for NDSU's new turf. Hopefully, UND can add a center field logo along with the Alerus logos.
